It's the same as every year. They're maximizing profits. It's lame. But, at least they're putting out a quality game. I'll be pre-ordering it.

I couldn't care less about a statue or a poster or a part of the TakeOver ring from London. If I wanted wrestling merch I'd go get it, I want the game, and all the DLC in the game, and I am willing to pay for it, but having to pay for extra shit I don't want to get what I do want, is bullshit, and a rip-off. Last gen gets to buy them individually but not current gen? Even more bullshit. It's a good bundle, sure, but I can't see anyone defending the fact that people who just want the playable characters have to pay for all the other shit they will never even touch. Also the fact that you have to get a physical copy of the game, when tons of people prefer digital copies.

think of it this way, last gen is paying for that garbage gameplay.. so there's that

I agree on everything else though. althought. technically if you add the DDE which comes with the pass for 90, then add the possibly 10 bucks for the nxt people that's 100 dollars right there. there's the nxt collector's digital edition with all dlc lol. but don't you get the game for pc? cause i'm sure all that stuff is gonna be bundled with the game when the pc version comes out. and that will be a price of 59.99.

but yeah I stopped getting physical years ago. every so often I get a physical game but most of my games are digitally purchased.

Being able to afford it isn't really the issue for me, if I decide to get the game I will buy it and get this DLC pack, worst case I'll just have to wait (which I don't really have a problem with, I have plenty of games to keep me occupied in the meantime). The issue is value for money. Generally I prefer to buy every second release because too often these games just feel like roster updates with a few minor improvements, and it's hard to justify buying it every year. This year based on the new roster members we can expect to see I know there's a good chance I'll cave, but I also know there's a good chance I'll regret that decision (I made that mistake with WWE 13). If I'm going to decide to buy this game I need to feel like I'm getting good value for my money, additional DLC packs that aren't included with the season pass work a long way towards throwing that out the window, especially when it's DLC I won't want to have to go without. If the collectors edition was only granting people early access to this DLC, and was to be included with the season pass at a later date then I'd be fine with it, hell I'd probably be OK with them bundling it together with the Goldberg/Nitro preorder bonus if the cost didn't exceed $10. Buying what's likely to feel like a carbon copy of 2K16 in terms of gameplay for $110, plus another $30-$40+ for the DLC just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Not to mention adding additional micro transactions excluded from the season pass sets a bad precedent for future games. Also kinda irks me how this pack is guaranteed to turn moves we already have in 2K16 into DLC exclusives, minor gripe that wouldn't really affect me anyway, but still.

as I stated before. just get the DDE if that's within your price range, that's 90 bucks. then pay the extra 10 for the nxt stars that pans out to 100. you have the digital version, the nxt people all for 100 bucks. essentially the nxt collection minus all that stuff

I still think that most of these people are upset not cause they can't afford it but 1. because the season pass isn't included (it never is with collectors editions of any game as far as I know) 2.the fact that last gen gets it day 1. again I can see the disappointment but think of it like this, last gen still has the arcade feel to it. and 3. because they ran out and preordered the DDE without even knowing if anything else was gonna be announced. actually I've really only seen 2 people that seem very miffed about this.. one guy is a guy that said he only played the game from October to January last year, stopped posting on forums and such. he buys a digital preorder and is mad cause they announced said collector's edition 3 days later?

 

I mean I went and got the DDE cause I knew I was going to eventually get the game and i'll be too busy between September - October to care to take time out of my schedule to deal with a preoreer plus I'll be traveling. he doesn't have that excuse. he could have atleast waited till summerslam.  if he did that he'd atleast have something to go by. so yeah I think most of the people that are lashing out on this are in the 3rd category. Thing is I don't know much about Nia or Nakamura to have wanted them that badly. Apollo Crews I am a fan but I have no problem waiting.  Especially when we basically paid for Nakamura's moves in 2K15 and 2K16 (see those moves packs) so yeah that's pretty much my stance on it.

Part of his mystique is the presence that he's continually built over the years and how he's established it on a bunch of other outlets. Jeff's network is expanding and outreaching tenfold so someone somewhere is always reading or at the very least listening to someone reading what he takes the time to elaborately craft and transition to a post.

Whether it's a word salad, or well-cultivated, Jeff will have you predicting his statements and that's how he's branded himself--as an able bodied effeminate Vegas magician with arthritis, Hep C, and bad knees except that he isn't at Bellagio's, but at the strip. He's always going to be getting a crowd because he's got experience in working one. You could say he's working Smacktalks's street corner to be politically correct, but Aero's ma's got that base covered. Jeff's more of the "fluffer" or the "stuffer" for our left-wing enthusiasts. Don't get me wrong. It's an important job and it needs to be allocated to every profession because it keeps the checks and balances in unison like clockwork. Every player has a position to play. 

Anywho Jeffrey, if the Digital Deluxe Edition is in your radar, it's worth noting that it couldn't hurt if you waited until late October/early November as it'll be $20 cheaper on the annual PSN Flash sale around that time. Though if you do that, you're going to have to find an alternative way to get the pre-order bonus. I'd say to befriend a couple of assclowns at your local Gamestop for that hook-up.

I don't deal with gamestop hardly and I've never seen any wwegames get a discount in early November. I travel between las vegas and Baltimore annually around this time and I've never seen any type of deals other than with the first person shooters.  that said everything I've said is/was truthful. the person that I was referring to got info on the game in exchanged for being wined and dined by thq and later 2k. those days are over for him. nothing I've ever said was to mislead anyone. but I don't need a crowd or people to listen to me. i'm not shawn michaels or joey. I don't need the attention. I am just me.

I can afford it, I always buy everything from day one because well, I want to have access to everything in the game from day one. Money isn't an issue, the issue is spending money on shit I'm not going to use.
