Sunny Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Goldberg has been announced to be the pre-order bonus for this year’s WWE 2K17 video game. Thanks to his inclusion in the game, the former professional wrestler will be out and about to help promote it.EB Games Canada announced on its official website:“Exclusive Friday signing by WWE’s Goldberg in the #EBGamerZone at #FanExpoCanada! Plus a Platinum Member exclusive Q&A in the EB Games lounge! Don’t miss out, become a Platinum Edge Member today!”His appearance will be on Friday September 2nd. Actual session times will be posted at a later date. Sadly, WWE 2K17 will not be playable at the event, but you can ask Goldberg many questions about the game.Goldberg was approached by 2K Games in order to be in this year’s game. Vince McMahon actually gave permission this year as he prevented his inclusion in previous years for unknown reasons. Even though Goldberg will be in the game, he doesn’t know if either Triple H or Vince McMahon are actually interested in seeing him wrestle gain for one more match.WWE 2K17 will be out on October 11th, 2016 for the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS3. You have to pre-order the game in order to get instant access to a playable Goldberg character.Source: EBGames Quote

Sunny Posted July 15, 2016 Author Posted July 15, 2016 Like how it's been in recent times. I was reading up on what you posted. All valid points, though I'll also wish to reserve my judgment until everything is revealed. They usually have a base roster revealed by SummerSlam although it won't make much of a difference. But, you have to also understand that this community is a fickle bunch. They aren't going to be as vehement when criticizing unethical business practices. Speaking on behalf of the group collectively, I wish I could say otherwise, but this is based on what I've witnessed from my individual experiences in recent years and it's only going to degrade as the years go by. We're holding on to this false hope that this "change" will magically transpire and we will "band" together. Nonsense, and this isn't some nihilist talking. It's the truth. Only a matter of time until virtual currency and microtransactions are a big staple of the franchise too. The people who would have probably voiced the loudest have moved on.Those who have stayed will continue to drink the Kool-Aid and get hoodwinked as a result. You're essentially speaking to an empty choir. Paywalls and "auxiliary content" that should have been included in the season pass to begin with will continue to be the norm and the games dished out in coming years will continue to be riddled with brand exclusive content, timed exlusive content, pre-order incentives, or sponsored exclusions. The "WWE Games" community is too small of a community to enact any type of visible change especially if most are willing to make an excuse to accept bending over backwards and getting rimmed by 2K to begin with. I'd say to save your breath, (or finger strokes) but you've got to understand, if people want to remain vested in the series somehow, most gamers will just make the logical jump to PC (even if it's supported the least) instead and get everything there so they'll always have that option available. In essence, we will remain powerless anyways as we'll be subdued by the overwhelming majority who become swindled by a sea of plants supporting it on social media platforms. 1 Quote

I think at the end of the day as long as we have a solid game that's all that matters at this point. I honestly didn't care for the nxt thing. I mean it's cool I guess. but I got the DDE Preordered for 90, if you add 10$ to that for the NXT DLC Thing, I guess that's the closest to getting a full NXT Collector's editon digitally without the physical artifacts for 100bucks so i'm cool with that. some may not be. but the people that were pissed off were pissed cause they ran out, preordered the DDE as soon as it was announced and now they want the CE but are mad cause 2k didn't announce it at the same time. but this has been a trend going on even before 2k took over. so them trying to blame 2k is laughable. and at the same token we have people that went out and spent 100$ (nevermind having to shell out extra for the pass) for a game and collector's editon they know nothing about. I only did it because i'm moving back to las vegas because of my job and i'll be much too busy to deal with physical games/deliveries/the possibility of a sell out etc plus I prefer the DDE Anyway. but yeah no one should be bashing anyone else cause they got the NXT CE. There's never any real info from these things. 2K wants it that way.well that's not a real reveal event anyway. the only reveal events we have are Gamescom (Germany) Summerslam Weekend and The Gamestop Expo (my birthday this year sept 14th in las vegas)those 3 events are where all the info basically came from and the people that were at those main events - gamescom and summerslam and the new York expo which I think is post summerslam, post their articles. also to note is that we've gotten info every other week since june so since they revealed their editions this week i'd say by Thursday the 28th of this month we should get something new.that sept 2nd event he's going to may also have some info the 9th of September seems to be the week (if they keep doing this every other week release schedule) that we may get info from that event.i'm def excited.. did you get your CC problem resolved? I saw the post regarding it on 2k Quote
WarGreymon77 Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 No it seems to be a permanent problem. I've uploaded my final arenas, and I'll upload my last championship belt soon (in slot 20, just in case). Quote

I've uploaded my final arenas, and I'll upload my last championship belt soon (in slot 20, just in case).actually a friend told me that every time you restart the game (or most likely back out of cc and go back in) upload slots are gone but content is still there. I think it's the same download slot glitch that i'm encountering. I had downloaded like 18 new wcw people and when I went in yesterday I had 20 new download slots. it definitely hadn't been 24 hours. I think honestly they need to get rid of these limits cause they do nothing to help the server stress anyway Quote
