El Guapo Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Apologies for bringing up a pretty old subject, but has anyone ever managed to successfully replace the models in the 2k14 dlc files?I've previously used the old "alternate attire donor" method to replace the Bellas etc with wrestlers I'd rather have in the game, but now I'm looking to save as much space as possible in my arc file so it'd be more worthwhile to actively switch the models.I've tried compress and injecting the pachs into the dlc models (so as not to change the file size within the dlc) but that causes a fatal error when the game tries to load the affected models Any ideas anyone? N'Jadaka Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Yeah I'm pretty sure it involves updating the sd & or hdarc in the dlc folder. Its somewhere in the modding discussion threads. Quote
stlpowercat Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 The issue, unless someone else found a work around, is that if the DLC file size changes....it goes corrupt. The replacement files have to be of the same size or smaller than the original. I believe you still have to update the arc file from the dlc package as well.I have been able to replace Dusty Rhodes Polka-dot with Dusty Rhodes NWA and replaced the Giant NWO T-Shirt with his ring attire. I had issues when replacing Curt Hennig's NWO T-Shirt with his ring attire tho so I just added alternate attires for Mr. Perfect. The Bella pac files are so small that it will be hard to find a mod with the same size or smaller. There is another thread on this subject somewhere. El Guapo Posted July 7, 2016 Author Posted July 7, 2016 Thanks for the input guys, I'll try a few more things and report back. The key here might be finding an alternate to LeFluffie for the injections, as - for example - I've found Horizon more reliable at injecting the SaveData.dat Quote
stlpowercat Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Cool...if you find something that works let us know! I have edited the sound pack file in DLC 4 to remove calls for unwanted superstars....it would be awesome to be able to replace the unwanted models. Quote
