there's a few people that know how to do this but wont share how to do it, so i searched it and came cross this, not sure if it works or not hopefully someone can try it out and see if it does.

 

first of all create a backup of ur save in case something goes wrong, in ur normal save u need to create a caw, just to create and save then do a backup from that file. delete the caw and make any wrestler you want to edit as alt attire. save and create another backup, then u need to paste the first backup in ur game just the three data files not the case files. Enter the game and you will see the wrestler as the caw you create. modify as you want then save that and exit the game and copy the second backup. the same just three data files. and you will have your wrestler modify as alt attire. the only thing is that you can't edit the hair again because the game recognize as alt attire again.

 

but im confused what exactly does he mean by backup from that file, does he mean copy and paste to another slot. and what does he mean by three data files and case files? is he referring to coping all the game files to an external hdd and saving the files to pc and replacing the files on the pc? if so how do i know what files to look for.

well i was mainly posting it to see what he was talking about (last part of the post) and see if anybody could get it to work. because it kinda make sense that it could work, i just dont know what files he's referring to

I think he was saying make a backup of your save once more. but the thing is you can't backup saves unless to the cloud on x1. so idk

by making a backup do u mean copying the game file to an external hdd? but the thing about that is it doesn't copy ur save under ya particular gamertag it only copies the game itself and the dlc. for example i use 3 diff gamertags and when i try to copy everything to external hdd it copies everything but the gamertag save files. which is what im thinking u need,and when u click on the gamertag it doesn't give u an option to copy only to delete so maybe that what he means, but like i said u can't copy it so u can't replace the 2nd backup with the 1st one.

 

maybe once 2k17 comes out and they haven't fixed it, maybe Status will release how to do it

that's what's making it really difficult to understand. on ps4 you can copy/backup your save to a flash drive but from what I know of x1 (I don't own one) that you can only backup to the cloud. which is kinda ridiculous considering you could move saves to usb on the 360. it's almost like x1 went the route of the "locked" save system ps3 had lol

yeah i have an xb1 external hdd thing on my computer where i can switch it to pc mode and the pc will read the xb1 files but their in .file and .xvi format. but like i said thats the game and not the actual game save.
