HELP WWE 2k16 crashes on start-up

I had a total save game with a whole lot of mods installed. One of those mods was NPC unlocker. I deleted all those and re-installed WWE 2k16 because I wanted to start over. Then, the first time I ran it, it retained all the info I had saved via the NPC unlocker, but also displayed characters like 'Clash of champions', 'Summerslam' etc. From the next time on, it doesn't run. The start render with Austin loads. But, once I press any button it continue, the game keeps hanging.

 

PLEASE HELP.
