Tutorial for installing character and tron packs?

I may be just being dense, but I have not found a step by step on how to install these packs. I keep finding videos that ask for files I can't find.

Is there a step by step guide to modding? (Preferably text)

To install the character, you just open up the ch---.pac file, pofo and moveset files in Custom Character Tools while the game is open, hit inject, then change something to force the game to save (I always go into the options menu then change something under Game Balancing), then quit/restart the game to see the changes.

To install a tron, you can just copy and paste the main tron file into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\WWE2K16\movies\titantron (if you installed in the default directory). To install minitrons and walltrons, you can use the injector in Data Editor which works similarly to Custom Character Tools.

I am looking at the AJ Styles mods, but all I am seeing are PACS, where to find POFOs and movesets?

BTW thanks for your patience. I am a modding vet, but a noob at this game.

NWM got the pofo and moveset. They all have to be the same number, right?

yes they have to if not change the ch.pac file to the corresponding pofo slot

and dont forget to change the pac slot in hxd

yes, make it empty or create a new text document with the correct extension [.bin] and the correct name [chunk_cache]
