4 Life Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Not sure if this is possible. Was looking for a few entrances from some of the previous games, namely Syxx from WWE 2K14 and Gangrel from WWE '13, though I'm not sure if the game's files are structured too differently for it to be possible? Quote
ItzTheRampage Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Its not possible, there was a thread a few months ago. Its only possible to port 2k15 entrances from the PC version. The 2K14 Entrances do not work. ( The Camera does work) but not the animation itself 1 Quote
jakeypearce Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 To extend on ItzTheRampage's post, I have a list of the known bytes the game uses for entrance animations.--Last gen:34 7D 36 54 ("4)6T")BD 5B 52 59 ("½[RY")61 98 F4 25 ("a˜ô%")*REST TO BE FILLED OUT*--PC:30 F9 1A 7A 26 (**)0D AE CC 2E (**)0D AE CC 2D (**)*REST TO BE FILLED OUT*-- Basically, the reason why the older animations don't work is - as quoted by Tekken - "the animation format is completely different". I have delved into this some more, and have found out (while trying to add Outlaw Ring In from 2K16 PS3 to 2K16 PC) that there are 2-3 extra "values" the PC version has, that last gen doesn't have. If we can find out how to add those values in, then we might get the older animations working. The best way to check, is to find a move from last gen that the PC version has, uncompress them (they are both ZLIB) and compare the values. 1 Quote

The Moves should be identical to last gen Quote
4 Life Posted June 20, 2016 Author Posted June 20, 2016 I'll have to forget that one then haha, cheers for answering guys 1 Quote

The Moves should be identical to last gen Because the ID is different between last gen and current gen. For example, Handstand Ring-Out's ID in the PC version is "93 49". In 2K14, it was "9B DB", and in the PS3 version, it's "A4 F5". The reason why I've been desperately wanting to add the old animation for these moves is because, why on earth would they leave them locked and still have "their own entry" (i.e. why is it there?)? The PS3 version doesn't have them; it doesn't have "Cut Air Shout", or "Batista 4" like the PC version does (the PS3 version has IDs, but no names). If it was in the PS4/Xbox One createmode.pac, then that wouldn't make logical sense, and the devs motto of "building a new foundation" would be a lie. Also, "Outlaw Ring In" was NOT in 2K15 PS4/X1 or 2K16 PS4/X1, but ARE in the PS3/360 versions of the SAME games and can be easily unlocked on the PC version. Edited June 20, 2016 by jakeypearce Quote
