Nabz23 Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I have problems downloading updated mods for superstars that exist in the game. For example if I download Seth Rollins mod I just drag the 2 pac files that come in the download into the ch folder of the game. But the game crashes when i select Rollins. I installed the Universal Attire Unlocker and it still crashes on Rollins. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, would like some help on this Quote
NuJerzeeDevil Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 http://smacktalks.org/forums/topic/61475-the-patch-broke-everything-here-is-a-fix/ you're welcome Quote
Nabz23 Posted June 18, 2016 Author Posted June 18, 2016 (edited) No thats not the problem , I have no idea whats going on. I can install modded wrestlers fine. But if I have to install a guy who already exists it crashes when I select them. All I do is just copy paste the ch files into the ch folder while the game is running. I don't know why its failing. Edit: Suddenly it works, so random. Edited June 18, 2016 by Nabz23 Quote
NuJerzeeDevil Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Ah ok, after installing new superstars you have to restart the game. If you do not restart the game after install then it will either get hung up on loading screen or it will crash Quote
Nabz23 Posted June 19, 2016 Author Posted June 19, 2016 Damn that sucks cause it takes so long just to load up after the boot screen Quote

JonasSlasher Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 you cant just copy paste something and while game is running! lol why would you think thats not gonna make the game crash! it willits best to copy paste stuff when not running the game.here's my tip:installing alternate attires you have to kind of rename the file, and also hex edit the pach number inside.for example seth rollins is number 369when you download something, im expecting the file will be ch36902.pac (the ring attire) and ch36904.pac (entrance attire)take note of 02 and 04.if you copy paste these directly to the ch folder, these will replace the current attire of seth rollins.if you want to set it as alternate attire then you have to rename it to ch36912.pac and ch36914.pac02 and 04 represent attires #1 and 12 and 14 represent attires # 2.it isnt over with just this step yet though, as you need to hex edit the pach number inside each respective files. you will need Hex Editor program installed for this.open the pac file with Hex Editor and scroll down til you find PACH...blah blah then 36902. OVERWRITE it with 36912 or with the other file 36904 to 36914. Please dont use back space when hex editing, Put the typer before the digit/number you want to replace then type away. as pressing back space to delte a Letter or Number will mess up the pac file. Copy paste the new ch36912.pac and ch36914.pac files to your ch folder. this means you installed the proper files.the last thing you need to do is use Cave Waverider's Attire Unlocker to unlock an Attire slot for the Seth Attire you just installed. This means you let the game know that there is an attire slot you just put in the folder. Select Seth Rollin's Number 369 and put 2 attires.Run WWE!PS: When opening WWE 2K16, it will always take very long on the first boot. once you close it and re-run it again though, the boot is much faster i hope this helped! Cave Waverider Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 (edited) Then of course, the Hex editing of the PACH is optional as you can simply use Custom Character Tools after renaming to install the renamed .pac file and it'll rename the PACH automatically.
