Changing names (string) | I can't !

Hi all, then I have a problem with the file string.pac. I have almost tried everything to happen to change the name of Karl Anderson in the game but I can not do and his brand:

even following the Pozzo tutorial, I can not.

So, could someone tell me how the names of superstars changing?

Because you probably had v1.0 and 1.0 is only availible in English. The new versions are availible in all languages

What are you trying to change the name to, mate? If the name you're changing it to is shorter than the original name then it should be easy.

Like I already said man just download the newest update to the future proof string version 8 & it includes French. You most likely have an older version installed right now & need version 8  Here is a screenshot of the 1 you have to download....

Ah scratch that man. There actually isn't a French version yet. Sorry about that

Clarification: There is no French version of the string file. "All languages" was poor wording on my part. It meant that I had updated all the previously included languages, those being English, German, Spanish, and Italian.

As of now there is no French version as creating and packing each string is incredibly time consuming. At this point I'm essentially maintaining 16 different strings (four different languages in the main FP string + four different languages for each FP-compatible string for my three arena packs). Even to add a few names takes usually at least 30mins of organizing and unpacking and then a few hours of renaming and repacking.

Due to this I have no plans to create a French string from scratch myself, although if someone wants to take up the cause using the string list I will gladly add it to the main string.

Thank you for the clarification @LordJustice17. I think the miscommunication was (at least for me) that I saw someone in the string thread saying they were making a French version a few days ago so i thought it was done already. Sorry for the confusion. Perhaps RevONiKO can help the person who was trying to make the French version or he can do it himself if the other person is not doing it anymore? I am sure LordJustice can explain to you how to do it
