Please help...How do i start my game fresh again???

Ok to put it simple. I added mods to the game, but now I want them out. Usually with steam I always delete the remote files and then everything go's back to normal. the game usually clears out all my achievements and saves and it starts fresh like day one. I don't know what to delete now.

How do I get my game to play like day one? I want to start fresh? I tried deleting the game of my steam but when it comes back I still have all my CAWs, and saved games. I want everything gone. I want to start fresh

I'm guessing Steam has backed your save game to the Cloud and is reinstalling it? I would suggest Google how to delete saves from the Steam Cloud

Not at home atm but IIRC its a all files in the Roaming folder so...

C:\Users\username\*AppData*(<-Hidden)\Roaming\Steam\*SteamUserName*\*gamenumber* (I think it starts with 38...)\remote

Should be a few files there called mainbody000 etc. just delete everything if you want to start fresh.

Excuse me, but I do remember "hidden"......How do I get the Hidden appdata to show???

Verify your files with Steam.

Do it quick and dirty, start the game in window mode and delete your save in the Steam folder. But you must delete the save before you enter the main menu (at the hit any key screen).

IT WORKED!!!!.....but dame that was a pain. Steam is making things harder and harder it seems these days

Glad you got it sorted. I was actually thankful of Steam backing up my save last time I had a corrupted save. :)

You just type in %appdata% in the explorer bar instead of <Drive>:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\. %localappdata% is the variable for <Drive>:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\, by the way.
Then again, the game doesn't use the given folders at all, the savegame location ..\Steam\userdata\<steamUserID>\385730\.

App Data is the G*d damned devil.  Most PC users don't realize that a good 60% of the issue they have with NOT being able to get games to revert to their original, clean states is because of App Data which still isn't a common location for many users to know about.
