lost caw, universe 2kshowcase reset etc

this is probaly futile but i thought i'd try. anyway...
a few nights ago i went to play wwe 2k16. a box popped up with a bunch of stuff. anyway, i can't remember if i chose yes or no. i think i chose no. a few things reset, like universe and 2k showcase. i lost my caws, alternate wrestler attires, etc. is there anything i can do to get things back to how they were? what about this cloud thing? if not, i guess i'll have to uninstall wwe 2k16 and find another game to play. i appreciate any help anyone can give me.

i went to settings>system>storage and clicked on clear local saved games. at one point it said syncing data with wwe 2k16. i did this twice. didn't help. i sent messages to 2k support; no help there.

i'm assuming it was a prompt to overwrite the existing data with the patch/title update data and you put no. have you tried just exiting the game starting back up and selecting yes? is this current gen pc or last gen?
