Ahh is that a Mr Perfect pack I see? Why yes it is, and it contains my favourite attires, yellow which I already made myself BUT the black with the silver logo on the back :), guess I will use that on his next ppv appearance in my universe.

When I port this to 2K17, I'd like to add some more to the pack.  Executive Consultant Mr Perfect, Stolen Flair Robe Curt Hennig, etc.

General Hugh G Rection released on first post!  I haven't had much time for modding recently due to work stuff, and I kept running into problems with the alternate Hugh Morris attire so I gave up on it for now.  He'll probably make his debut in 2K17.

Hey Everyone,

So now 2k17 is out on consoles - and probably won’t be out on the PC until at earliest after all the DLC drops - more likely around Wrestlemania time next year.  It sounds like some of the file structures have changed, and that might have an effect on what can be ported over from 2k16.

My plan for a while has been to create a pretty big WCW overhaul mod next year.  My hope is that we’re able to figure out the differences between the two formats and continue to bring over content from 2k15/2k16.  One nice thing about 2k17 is that I thought I was going to spend most of my time editing the menu images - but since there pretty much aren’t any I can focus more on game content.

For now I’m going to try and focus my time on creating things that will hopefully work in 2k16 and be portable to 2k17.  Textures, videos, etc.

If things work out and I follow through and finish this in the next game, what do people want me to call this project?  These are the names I like best:

  • WCW 2k17
  • WCW/nWo 2k17
  • WCW 2k17: Welcome to Sid City
  • WCW 2k17: Welcome to Flair Country
  • WCW Backstage Mayhem
  • WCW Backstage Revenge

Pretty much what I'm hoping for with my Monday Night Wars project tbh. Good to see that there won't be much menu modding to do but just hoping everything can port over somehow, even if that means someone developing a tool that we can then just take all our yobjs/pacs, compile them into a new carrier file and then inject that into a pac or whatever. Sure we'll figure it all out when the game is out :)

Yeah, I really hope we can port everything over.  The new game dropped a bunch of MNW era talent.  But the show presentation features, promos (even though I hate the way they did it - maybe through modding someone will come up with a way that we can directly script promos), referee choices, backstage and crowd fighting are all great for recreating retro show feels.

I think you might've drawn me back to 2k16 for a bit! haha as I've said I've been waiting for this one! I'm really hoping we can port things over. With D'Lo's chest protector being in this year in the caw parts I'm hoping I can simply add it in to my mod once 2k17 releases

Really early preview, so you Ham 'n Eggers might have to wait a bit before you get your grubby paws on him.

AWESOME. These will do perfectly with my 2k17 PC universe.
