hi if i put the updated road warriors in the game, it always crashes when selecting them?

Did you make sure the moveset and Pofo slots matched that of the ch.pac file? If they don't match you will definitely have issues

Great job, but I think Animal is more thick or maybe fat.

Hi i am using the CH numbers from the future-proof string, how do i make the newer Roadwarriors upload use the same ch numbers as is in teh string? the first upload works with it but not the second, so i have no clue how to put them in game.

The future-proof-string has nothing to do with the "ch numbers" (I assume you mean Wrestler IDs).
The Important thing is that the wrestler IDs in the .pofo and .moveset files as well as the ch*.pac files (and especially the PACH files in the EMD section of the ch*.pac files) are the same.
To change them, rename the ch<ID>.pac files where <ID> is the ID used by the .pofo/.moveset file. Then simply use the latest version (older versions are bugged, so make sure to download and install the latest one!) of Custom Character Tools to install the ch*.pac file, which will automatically rename the PACH file inside the .pac files to the IDs in the file name. If you want to adjust the .pofo and .moveset files, load them into the Data Editor for WWE 2k16, adjust the IDs and anything else you'd like to adjust there, then use the "Install * via CCT" buttons to install them into the game with the help of
Custom Character Tools.

The save games for sure (although CCT has an option to create backups of those, so you might not have to do that manually). I'd also suggest to back up the clean (without mods) and fully patched game folder just in case you wish to restore any files in the future.

ok cheers mate will have a play with it.

Oh yeh Cave Dweller, a little off topic but whilst i have your attention, i tried adding the alternate attire slots and it overwrites all slots in teh game with 'wrestlemania' how can you set it for certain Wrestlers? but keep soem of the default ones how they are? and can you rename what the attire is called?

And whilst i am at that, if i wanted to add the 2 classic undertaker mods that are going around not as replacements but as alternate attires, how woudl i go about that?

You'd have to change the misc01_start_dlc10.pac manually if you want to use individual attire names at the moment (there are tutorials on how to do that linked in the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock readme). That said, I'm planning to rework the whole Universal Alternate Attire Unlocker GUI starting hopefully sometime in July and the plan is to allow for assignment of custom string for each attire name of any of the 100 wrestlers you can have menu accessible alternate attires on.
By the way, if you install the latest Future-Proof-String string.pac (a version of which is included, but feel free to install the latest version stickied at the top of the forum), the Attires will be named Attire 1-10.

If you want to make a mod chXXXYZ.pac an alternate attire, simply rename XXX to the ID of the wrestler you want it to be the alternate attire of and rename Y to the attire number (0 = Attire 1, 1 = Attire 2,..., 9 = Attire 10). Z is the type of Attire (2 = Ring attire, 4 = Entrance Attire, 6 = NPC Attire where applicable). Once you've renamed the .pac file, install it using Custom Character Tools (if you don't install it via CCT, you'll have to rename the PACH file in the EMD section of the chXXXYZ.pac file manually with a hex editor before installing it via Cheat Engine or X-Packer, but since CCT is available and it's been talked about to death around here, I won't explain that method further), then unlock the desired amount of alternate attires for that Wrestler ID with the Attire Unlocker of the Data Editor.

AH ok mate i'm understanding this better now, i will try this with the update roadwarriors on this thread and try and give them the move set and pofo etc in the other thread that the original ones worked with, i download the Giant Gonzales earlier from another thread, his .pac was called ch11902_Gonzales.pac , so i downloaded the only move set available for him which was labled slot - 190.moveset (then the same and .pofo) i renamed the gonzales .pac to ch190.pac and installed with CCT with the moves set and pofo mentioned, but again would not appear in game, what am i doing wrong with this?

Do you have the Future Proof String 8.0 installed? If not Giant Gonzalez is probably in your game, but named something weird like Royal Rumble '08 (just an example).

Are you using Match Select 1.3 or later? That includes PacPlus, and since Giant Gonzalez is assigned to Slot 190 which is a PacPlus slot you'll have to run Match Select 1.3 or later any time you load your save (once you reach the main menu screen) to apply the PacPlus patch.

Ok i am guessing this is because he is meant to be a replacement for Andre the giant or a alt attire after looking into it, i find with the replacement mods if you want them to be a mod in their own right they never work, i tried the guys chyna mod that Leonrick released and it worked no problem because she wasn't a replacement.

I was browsing his 2K15 thread thinking "wow, if I could port all these then I've landed on a goldmine here, this guy is awesome!". Then, after some digging, it becomes apparent that you have to sign up to another forum, then subscribe to his mods and if you're a regular poster and he thinks you're worthy then he might accept your subscription.

What's with all this elitism among the community? There are several people out there just as good or if not better at making mods, yet they're just releasing them to the public. It's not good for the community to make people jump through hoops just to get your work.

Well i got the Road Warriors working no problems with your advice Cave, Giant Gonzales is the only one not working for me at the mo.

They all work fine. You just need to rename them to their proper ID including their PACH file and install a working .pofo and .moveset for that same slot.

If you're running the match select 1.3 every time you run the game, make sure you named the pac file correctly. Also, I'm not sure if CCT does this for you, but otherwise open the pac file in HxD and scroll till you see a bunch of values on the right. It should read 00019002. If it's not that, change it to that and it should work

is this can happend if you rename the pac and pach to any empty slot and pofo moveset also then will it work?

Yep. You'll edit the pofo file in HxD yourself though, unless CCT does that for you (I don't know if it does)

We were all clueless about this stuff once mate. I was confused about it all like a month ago, now I'm installing mods left and right and replacing superstars, editing text strings, doing a bit of texture modding, finding audio values and overwriting them, creating custom renders... learned a lot over the past few weeks :)

It'd be nice if they also had their classic early 90's attire (of WWE) and, taped fist for Hawk? I don't recall seeing that, without it it'd be better.
