hovathagod32 Posted October 14, 2016 Author Posted October 14, 2016 Hey, have you finished that 96/97 sting logo? I wanna implement it into my last gen modsI haven't finished it yet, but I have no intentions on releasing it for people to use for anything outside of my Crow Sting mod. I gave out the PSD I put together to draw my own. You guys can use that to create whatever you can. Quote

4 Life Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 I just asked him directly & we've discussed this on my thread already. If so then obviously that's all good, it just seemed from your post and then hova's subsequent post that there was no permission granted anywhere, just didn't look good is all Quote
Goon3r73 Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Nitro 99 WIP Mint, the Nitro 99 entrance, or should I say later on in the year Nitro 99 , is looking good. That will look real nice as and when/if you get to release it. As for Crow Sting, take your time it is looking real sweet. Gz and big thanks again for putting your time and effort into these mods. hovathagod32 Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 almost finished with 99. need some floor light objects then I can color them in to match various PPVs. hopefully that works the same with 2000, and Nitro 99 4 Quote
hovathagod32 Posted October 20, 2016 Author Posted October 20, 2016 I haven't forgot about this project. I'm still working on it lol. I've been messing around doing 3D rendering for my stage areas and it came put pretty damn good. I notice the shoulder area with Sting's Shirt clips a bit. I'm working on that. Then I'm on to some 2000 Era Sting attires with the chinstrap. Also I'm to try to see if the Nitro lights from 2K17 work with the modded version available in 2K16. If they do I'll probably preview nWo Nitro and Havoc 98. 6 Quote
hovathagod32 Posted October 27, 2016 Author Posted October 27, 2016 Lol it KINDA worked porting from old gen. I'll def be able to retexture and fix all the logos for Havoc 98 & a 99 version in 2K17. 5 Quote
Wizard3 Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 so i made a little discovery messing around i found in the mov/transitions pac files that if you rename the file inside exported its a to bk2 its the transitions for the arenas when you start or after it loads so that maybe a plus for us to add this to your great arena pack your working on. now we need to find the nameplates to change so it shows up nitro or whatever...ps there is a nitro mov file over at redroosters thread for 2k14 so nitro would be done just need to add sounds and ask his permission to use would be cool to have tony say welcome to wcw monday nitro instead of the normal sound just a thought! I haven't took the time to really work on it yet because I'm still designing arena stages, but yeah.... They've done really good with 2K14 but I'm not really worried about Nitro because I can probably get it from 2K17 where it's updated. I just want to add my own logos because I can render them now to add things that 2K doesn't add.. Like "WCW Monday Nitro TNT" or Slim Jim & Snickers logos for Halloween Havoc.. Little things like that. Quote
hovathagod32 Posted December 2, 2016 Author Posted December 2, 2016 This project is still in the works.. Whether it happens on 2K16 or 17 really depends on how much I can get finished. I apologize about the Crow Sting project. Doing all the art stuff was becoming tedius and annoying so I took a break from that project. It really got shoved to the back for arena work with the release of 2K17 on console lol. Here's the Thunder stage I finished last night. The scale is off. I haven't touched Blender in a while, but here's how the design came out: 6 Quote
hovathagod32 Posted December 6, 2016 Author Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) Having a hard time lighting the stage and getting my textures to show up without crashing, but it's a WIP.. Might have to try adding everything to a new arena: 2K17 will probably serve better for this. If anyone knows how to get previous gen lighting to work, please let me know. I made nameplates for Souled Out '98 and Slamboree '98 so far and I like how they turned out. Unfortunately my job has kinda overtaken my life for a while so I haven't had any time recently to make progress. Late December I should be able to get back into this. I'm going to try to make as many nameplates as I can because I expect those to be easily portable to 2k17. Quote

hovathagod32 Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 Ok, so I'm all over the place lol.. Now I'm messing with Starrcade 97 Sting. I wanted to know opinions on hair? I think I got it looking fairly decent but I'm not sure if I should stick with this or go with the wolfpac hair and make it shorter? This current hair doesn't animate because it's just some mods to the original '99 hair: Looking at footage the hair goes behind his ears on both sides, but I don't have a hair that does that. Wolfpac hair doesn't do that either but it's the proper part in the middle? 4 Quote
4 Life Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 I think X-Pac's hair might be a good shout. Outfit is looking fucking awesome. Quote
hovathagod32 Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 I think X-Pac's hair might be a good shout. Outfit is looking fucking awesome.I'll try that today. The body suit is almost finished. It doesn't blend how I wanted it to, but it's not as obvious as what Rollins vest would look like over Sting's tights. Getting the colors to match and the tail to line up is such a bitch, but it's very close now lol Quote
hovathagod32 Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 X-Pac's hair looks good in stills, but when it's in motion it's kinda bad with the edits to make it shorter. Prob gonna stick with the other one for right now.. It's much closer to this: 1 Quote
Wizard3 Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 looks good hova. Always love your great sting attires and the wcw arenas are top notch, grade A stuff thanks for all the hard work on all of them brother! Quote
hovathagod32 Posted December 11, 2016 Author Posted December 11, 2016 I've finished the attire. The Scorpion finally connects. I just have to do a few things: Finish drawing the facepaintAdd the shoulder pads and scorpion to the coat + remove shineFix the coloring/alphas to the outfit so they match in something other than complete blackness. There's no timetable on release right now because I still want to release at least 10 attires together as a pack. But that makes 6/10 attires pretty much finished. In the meantime I'm working on finishing my collection of stages. Currently 3d designing Starrcade 97/98.I really want to figure out crowd lighting, but if I can't I'll just work on releasing 97-98 at minimum since the artwork for them are all finished. There's about 10 left that I have to design for 99-2001. Then it's just figuring out what 3d objects I can use in game to make it look a bit more realistic vs just using my 3D stage renders. Still a lot to go but I'm getting really closer to the finish. 2 Quote
