I mean with animations, props and everything? It would be cool also with Paul Bearer entrance (with the urn).I've replaced the standard Undertaker model with the retro one and also the entrance animation (EVP,EVZ) but the coat has very strange physics , it flying like crazy when he enters the ring. Perfectplex Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 (edited) A few questions I would like help with please, I am basically just trying to understand the files used and what is included and if I can somehow separate the needed files.Is the mot_dlc30.pac file replacing any files or just adding the animations to the current file as it prompts me to overwrite?Could they not be compiled into their own separate pac file like the other files, what is included in that file, I understand it is something to do with animations but not sure what and which files within are the new files or files overwriting ones in the default mot_dlc30.pac file.Could only the relevant props be compiled into their own pac to make a Hogan props pac, which files are relevant to use for Hogan? I could test my theory if I knew I had the relevant props to test, as I notice the prop files contain a lot of unnecessary props.If I have this right 00617.pac is CM Punk's Championship entrance and 00678.pac is Punk's Heyman entrance, these could be stripped from this mod pack too right?!What are the files 10413, 11414, 12413, 13413 and 14413?I know they have a reference to Hollywood Hulk Hogan when I open them with HexEdit but not sure if I need them if I only use the red and yellow Hogan and if I do use them what are they? move animations? taunts?I would like to append the file names with labels so I know what they are and who they belong to.I know the idea behind this thread is to make things simple and most wouldn't have to worry about these questions but I am trying to understand in depth what files are included and what is happening with mot_dlc30 as to not encounter problems later on if it is ever replaced by another mod.The end result I am hoping to achieve is an even more condensed simple Hogan pack with only files that are relevant to the individual Hogans, I would then post them in this thread if I have success in doing so. That way people can choose specific Hogan's and not have to worry about unneeded files or overwriting them later on by accident as it is possible I will come across a mod that requires a modified mot_dlc30 and thus will overwrite the one in this pack. If I knew how to answer any of your questions myself I would but I have no clue what's truly needed and what's not. I whittled this down to the closest I know of, but I'm sure it could be greatly condensed. If you can figure it out, it would be fantastic for the reasons you mentioned. Quote
Perfectplex Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 (edited) Ah well I have spent a good portion of my night scouring through the files but was just under the assumption that you had made the files for specific methods of use and that the other files within them were neccessary for some reason, now I know that they aren't I will indeed keep experimenting on segregating all the files, you have already done a great job and it works fine for anybody who just wants to get on with playing as the Hulkster, I have already separated the added files from the mot_dlc30.pac and put them into a new pac file and called it mot_dlc50.pac and renamed the pach inside to correspond however if I can I will have the pac name something more defined to Hogan.Edit: do not attempt the above step, it does not work properly.The game loads fine but I aren't really sure what the files refer to exactly so not sure what to test to see if they are being read by the game.I will spend the next day or so trying to accomplish what I can to make it Hogan (red and yellow modern) collection with any files not required taken out, if I am successful I would be happy to make a POW Hogan pack, then the Hollywood pack and if I get confident and all is going well with no problems I will happily consider doing the same for other ported over characters from 2k15.Wish me luck, I'm still relatively new to this and learning as I go along, no harm in trying, worst case scenario it doesn't work but this shouldn't be a problem for people as I say because your pack works great as it is.Update: Having some great success but still have work to do on some disobedient files.Will get back to this thread when I have something a little more satisfactory but its getting there. soonernfl19 Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 I am having a weird issue. During the entrance, the game uses the red and yellow modern Hogan with yellow/red pants, red shirt, and boas. Then after the entrance it shows 80s Hulk Hogan, like I want. I can't figure out why I am getting a different hogan during the entrance part. Any ideas?? I discovered the problem. I had a different hulk hogan pac file left behind from a different download. Deleted and now there is no issue. Thanks for the downloads!! Quote
