Help with Minitron issues

Hey I'm sorry if this is on the forum somewhere, I've read and viewed the tutorials and followed them the way I was supposed to but I'm still having issues. When I try to import through XPacker I just get a screen that shows what's currently going on in the game rather than the mini tron. So to try a different way I renamed the pac files to an already existing one and while the 3 mini's I tried work it's only for about 2 seconds before it starts glitching out. The game doesn't crash but I can't get any minitron to work as normal. I was trying to replace the Terminator minitron.
