Game keeps getting corrupted

So it seems whenever leave 2k16 for a few days and open it up again it gets corrupted, I have tried everthing from removing all mods to reinstalling mods, if anyone has any ideas why this keeps happening a response would be greatly appreciated

Are you using Xpacker to edit the Save? If so try deleting the 3 files it creates in your save folder.

MAINBODY0000.zlib

MAINBODY0000.uncompressed

MAINBODY0000.uncompressed.bak

That should fix it, (it did for me)

Also heeding Tekkens advice and not working on your actual save file but a copy of it that is in another location is a good idea.

What if you use cheat engine???

turn off steam cloud, are you modding? does the corrupt save only happen when you mod?

downloading bad stuff on community creations may also corrupt your game.

although in my case, the most common cause for a corrupt save is through community creations
