N'Jadaka
I'm working on the entrance attire for my wm9 HBK modAs you all know that top is in the CAW parts, Ive extracted it & when I went to inport it into 3dsMax I noticed that it had a skeleton of its own that wasnt matched to the skeleton of the 0000.yobj skeleton.I looked into fixes for it & I noticed a conversation that @tekken57 & @bugsyboy had about injecting bones from the model. I didnt see any tutorial on how to do that or if it was even a successful fix I just need some help on how to fix this problem. This is the last model of my Heel HBK pack & I want to get it right Edited April 16, 2016 by rj10018576
Super_Luigi
All you do is load up X-Rey, Utilities, Extract Skeleton, pick the .yobj that contains the skeleton you want to inject (HBK model), then it exports a .skeleton file. Then to inject it into the CAW parts load up X-Rey, Utilities, Inject Skeleton, pick the .yobj you want to inject into (CAW parts), then pick the .skeleton file you extracted earlier. It may say that there wasn't enough room to inject all of the bones/skeleton, just ignore that. I have never had a problem, I've done this countless times.Tip 1: I'm not sure how many times you have injected CAW parts... Most of the time you need to pull the CAW parts .yobj up in a Hex editor and change the file names at the bottom to color, normal, mask, etc. so that it actually uses your color.dds, normal.dds, etc. and then you can remap the texture coordinates (unwrap UVW). There is a tutorial on this someone in the WWE 2K14 section, I think in the topic that is called "Breakthrough CAW Parts" where HHH has bunny ears, Tekken mentions it.Tip 2: Most or all of the CAW parts have two .yobj files that may appear identical, but one is a slightly larger file size. The difference is often in the bones, and sometimes the number of .obj's inside the .yobj. I generally always use the one that is larger in file size.
