cloudropis Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I thought this worked the same as in 2k15: download the Unlocker by CW, download the modded .pac of the wrestler of choice that contains multiple attires, replace the vanilla one, start the game and boom, you have the attires. But I recently noticed that now, for 2K16, every different attire made by modders has its own .pac file. Does that mean I'm only replacing the default model with one modded attire? How do I add a bunch of different attires in one go like it used to be in 2K15? I even heard CE is now required.By the way, I don't want to replace which wrestlers are in the range of 100 who can have multiple attires: of that I've already seen the instructions in CW's thread. I just don't know how to add multiple attires for one of the wrestlers already included in those 100Thanks in advance for the help! Quote
Cave Waverider Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 (edited) By default, WWE 2k16 now has one attire/PACH file per .pac, just like WWE 2k15 had for the DLC.Modders releasing each attire in a separate .pac file isn't anything new this year either, for example, my Dean Ambrose 10+ Attire Mod came with separate .pac files for each attire last year.Releasing each attire in a separate .pac is really the more elegant way, as it allows the users to switch out/replace/update individual attires more easily and also for modders to release fixes with just one attire if a previous release was bugged so the user doesn't have to download all the attires again, just the previously bugged or additional one.Alas, some of the old time modders still do it with the single .pac way, which still works. You just have to be careful that if you replace one of the existing attires, you name the file correctly so it actually overwrites the original file. Of course, the .PACH inside still has to be renamed accordingly as well. Or you can delete the original attire files beforehand. The single attire files are named chXXXYZ.pac (although some modders still use the chXXX.pac naming for single attire mods or .pac files with multiple attires). The PACH file inside is named 000XXXYZ as usual.XXX is the wrestler ID, Y is the Attire number (0-9, 0 = Attire 1, 1 = Attire 2, ... ,9 = Attire 10) and Z is the attire type (2 = Ring Attire, 4 = Entrance Attire, there are more, but those two are the important ones - if a wrestler doesn't have an attire type numbered higher than 2, it'll simply use the ring attire for entrances, etc.).If a wrestler doesn't have a certain attire you're adding available in the game from the start, of course, you don't replace anything, you just add additional files. So yes, it still works just like last year, but if you didn't have experience with single files for each attire last year, it might look different to you, but it really isn't. Using the unlocker works the same as last year, too. Edited April 10, 2016 by Cave Waverider Quote

I had no idea 2K15 has single .pacs too, I always used the single chXXX files to replace the original ones.So for chXXXYZ files I just add them to the ch folder without replacing/overwriting anything? Btw you made me remember what I've seen cheat engine for: it was to change Z. So a, let's say, Dolph Ziggler modded attire which has one model for the entrance and one in-ring (for example, the entrance one has a jacket) would be two .pac files, one ch27512.pac and one ch27514.pac that I just add in the ch folder? Also, if I want to change which attire slot it uses (for example, 3 instead of 1) do I just rename the file accordingly or do I need to make some CE changes? Quote

And do I need to do the post-patch cache.bin file edit thing to make it work or is it not needed? Quote
