XtremeWRATH Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Ever since this stupid update that screwed up all the mods my game hasn't acted right. Seems like every time i get it working again the minuted i close it and load it later its corrupted again. There seems to be no way to get this game to work correctly anymore no matter how many times i uninstall it and try to start fresh. Quote

There seems to be no way to get this game to work correctly anymore no matter how many times i uninstall it and try to start fresh. Here are some steps you can follow (don't forget any of them!):1. Set Steam to Start in Offline Mode.2. Exit Steam (important!).3. Delete the folder \Steam\userdata\<SteamID>\385730 .4. If you have a backup of your last working save game, restore it your savegame into that folder.5. Start WWE 2k16 in Offline Mode.6. The game should now load your save, or if you don't have one, create a new one.7. Once in the main menu, make sure to save the game (you can do so by going to MyWWE->Edit Superstars and change the brands of one of the Wrestlers among other things). Save it. This will write the new Save game to your save game folder with the date newer than what's in the Steam Cloud.8. Exit the game.9. Exit Steam.10. Start Steam again in Online Mode.11. Start WWE 2k16.12. You will be told that the savegame on your computer is newer than in the Cloud (if you don't you probably have Steam Cloud Sync disabled for the game - enable it so you can fix the save data in the cloud). Choose to use the savegame on your Computer and Upload it to the cloud, overwriting the corrupted one.13. You should be able to play the game normally now and the data in the Cloud should no longer be corrupted so you should be good to go even with Steam Cloud Sync enabled.14. Make sure to regularly create backups of your savegame and repeat steps 1. to 14. in case it gets corrupted again (it shouldn't, though, unless you crash/kill the game while it's saving data, at least in version 1.01, as in 1.00 there were severe bugs leading to corruption).I hope this helps.
