CCT 2.0.0 with new "render injector" feature (for existing superstars) has been released. Please beware that this is a beta release and has not been properly tested yet! So always make backups and use that feature with caution!!! Please leave feedback and let me know if its working so I can fix bugs or mark that release as final because it will be my last release for this year. Thank you to all the donators, modders and for all the support from this community!

Edit: There is currently NO CHECK for a right dds file, so make sure that your file has the right size and format!

Edit 2: Please make sure that all your original render ltag files are still there or it doesn't work! It also doesn't work with other custom render files!

With size I mean 1024x1024px for the big and 512x512px for the small renders. Format needs to be dds converted by paint.NET. Take the tutorials from Perfectplex and 4 Life as reference to create such a file and it should work.

Injected several renders with this tool this afternoon and they've all gone smoothly, no issues anywhere. Such an awesome tool man, really aids productivity. Downloaded, edited and then created and injected and fully tested about 10 renders (all 3 types) in less than an hour, could just about manage two renders in that time with the old Visual Studio/X-Packer method :lol Big shoutout to you and @Perfectplex for all the work you guys have put into making this tool possible.

Quick question. Do i need to use paint.net to convert the DDS Files ? I converted a Jericho Render and its crashing. :/

I've not tested it, but I'm sure that as long as the DDS is in DXT5 format then it should work, so you could also probably use Paintshop with the Nvidia texture plugins. But yeah, has to either be DXT5 or DXT10 (only Visual Studio does DXT10 as well so I'd settle for DXT5). paint.net is easy enough to use though so I've just been using that :)

You're out of luck then mate. If you use a non-Steam version of the game then expect to hit a lot of problems when trying to mod stuff, because a lot of the game's files are different. As a result, a lot of the programs you download (this program, Data Editor etc) will not work. Please refrain from asking people here for help with any problems you get in the future, because it's likely going to be down to that and you'll just be wasting people's time.

:lol Yeah make sure you've got the legitimate version activated on your Steam account and got all the updates installed then you shouldn't have so many problems ;)

Ahhh... well you need money for those, so you've hit a snag.

Well everything should be working. Since my mods are working.

 

The settings are correct too. Downloaded Paint.NET now

Oh, seems like it actually wants you to convert it to a normal map because you're using DXT5 :lol Yeah try paint.net then, easier :) Your render looks a bit out of shape there mate, what it shows like on the canvas is how it'll show in the game so he's gonna have the top of his head cut off and ideally his waistline area should be showing so it'll be scaled nicely in-game. I always tend to use an actual render (Triple H retro's) as a template, place my new render over that until they're similarly sized and then adjust the colour so they look similar in that respect as well before deleting the HHH layer.

Oh my god. I keep asking myself why haven't I bought WWE2K16 (yarrghh a bad pirate)... A render replacer, this is heaven for you guys. Shouldn't spend my money on RuneScape memberships lol.

Appreciate the sentiment, but I don't think there's any need for a video tutorial mate as the tool is practically idiot-proof, so simple to use :D  The part that people might need help on (actually making the renders) already has both a text and video tutorial as well so :)

Really appreciate the tool now since I've experienced the old method. Which on occasion consisted of... make render B; compress the crap out of it; wait 5 minutes for it to save in VS; try to inject it - error; compress it further, wait another 5 minutes for it to save in VS; try to inject - another error; compress again and again and again until it's about 100kb; try to inject - yay, it worked!; inject that into the pac, try it in-game - CRASH. F*** man, I don't miss that :lol

Still amazed of how easy it is to update the renders. Let's hope there's a way to change the modded superstars renders, that would be perfect.

@TheVisitorX I think there's an issue with the export option. I was trying to export from CAW slot 43 (44 in-game), and it kept giving me empty files, although I do have a CAW in-game. I don't know if it's an issue with just that slot or CAW slots in general though
