Perfectplex Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 (edited) Bit of an odd question but can you make it so that when somebody is set as manager that they ONLY appear in the managers bracket?I can't remember if in the vanilla game when you chose a manager, those that are in the manager selection (Jimmy Hart, Heenan, etc) would not show in the actual superstars or downloaded superstars selection too when picking them I know its hardly a massive problem but its more of a minor annoyance (for me anyway). For instance I have decided I will have a Raw roster in the place of 'superstars' and Smackdown in the place of 'downloaded superstars' and so I want to move all the managers, staff and other non-competing characters to the managers bracket as it is unlikely I will need them for any other role but if I set them as manager only the selection of appearing as DLC yes or no seems to make them appear in the rosters too when picking a manager. TheHeartbrokenKid Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 If you set them to non-dlc and set them to managers, I think they won't appear anywhere else Quote
Perfectplex Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 (edited) No they still appear in superstars or downloaded superstars when it comes time to pick a manager, not when picking an active participant.Maybe its unavoidable I don't know, just seems a little odd to me and I can't remember if that is what happens in the vanilla game. pizzlekizzle Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Hey guys,I followed the text tutorial "Installing Wrestlers with Data Editor via Custom Character Tools:" and wanted to replace Bo Dallas with Doink. I installed the .pofo , moveset and .pac with Data Editor & Custom Character Tools following the tutorial. When I restarted the game, Bo Dallas was gone but Doink wasn't there either. So now I simply have one superstar less in the game. No Bo Dallas, no Doink.I tried searching but maybe I'm bad at finding the right keywords. What did I miss?Cheers and thanks Quote

In addition, make sure his .pofo file's Unlock Status is set to Unlocked and Set as DLC to No (if you want him to appear in the regular Superstars menu). His gender will have to be set to male as well, or he'll appear only in matches where females are legal. Also make sure to save your game after injecting the .pofo and .moveset with Custom Character Tools or it'll be gone next time you load your save. The mod doesn't show up in the game. What's funny is that it did not work with Doink or Yokozuna. Then Kamala worked, though I did the same steps. Today I tried working through the tutorial from Apost Khan (/watch?v=Lwmtsq6mOB0) with a Goldberg mod. Nothing. If this is interesting: I also cannot install this Universal Attire Unlock, it gives me an error message that I should check if my misc01_start_dlc10.pac is intact.I guess if this keeps going on, I'll try do reinstall the game completely and play with boring CAWs... This page you have on the screenshot usually comes up when you have multiple adfly pages open in your browser at the same time. Also, if you're running Microsoft Edge, try another browser like Chrome, apparently there are troubles with redirection in Edge at times.I'm not sure what else you can try. cloudropis Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 I don't know if you're still actively updating the program, but would it be possible to have a button that creates a quick backup of the entrance and moveset files? The thing that bothers me the most by possible save corruptions is having the redo all my custom entrances and moveset, it ould be pretty cool to have just have a button to click for a complete backup. I'd suggest making this suggestion in the Custom Character Tools thread as a quick export and import option of all .pofo and .moveset files for backup purposes instead of having to do it one by one sounds like a good addition to that wonderful tool. If you wish to change the attire names, you'll need to manually hex edit the misc file's String pointers and possibly manually edit the string.pac file if you want custom attire names that aren't present in the game as a String yet. There should be a URL to a tutorial by Red Rooster somewhere in the included Universal Alternate Attire Unlock Readme (you can open it with the respective button in the "Tools, Help, Tutorials..." tab of the Data Editor). Also be aware that you'll have to redo the Hex editing of the String pointers in the misc file every time after changing something with the Alternate Attire Unlocker GUI of the Data Editor. The easiest way to do this is to use Custom Character Tools to install the renamed files, as it will change the PACH file names inside according to the file names. You can also do it manually with a hex editor, however. Also, you'll have to set his unlocked attire number to 3 or greater so it's actually listed in the game. Cave Waverider Posted November 14, 2016 Author Posted November 14, 2016 @PakoVit, alas you can't assign the entrance for alternate attires as we haven't figured out how to do so yet, unforunately it will use the first one. What you could do is change the entrance for the first attire to that of the Demon, but that will also cause the non-demon versions to use that entrance. Another option would be to split Demon and regular Balor into two character slots (use the one that the community assigned for Prince Devitt for one, for example), then you can split the entrances between them, too. Not the most elegant solution either. Quote
