Complete modding noob here

I stick to the basic stuff because frankly I just can't figure out all the hex editing and stuff like that.

So I tried to get RVD's model into the game by just using a .ch file, I don't need the render or "pofo" because I don't get any of that stuff and I'm fine with it being a CAW. So is this possible? Installing just the model and having it as a CAW and making the entrance/moveset myself?

Because dragging and dropping the .ch file(s) from ALCLegacy and Bannockburn really does nothing, so I'm completely lost here.

Also: I'm pretty decent when it comes to photo editing and such and would like to start making texture mods for this game, can anyone point me where to start or link me some good tutorials because the ones I find I just don't get at all, but I am pretty competent in texture making so I would like to get into it because of that.

You can't install them as a caw. And you must have a pofo to install superstars else you'd need to replace existing ones. It's pretty easy if you have X-Packer. Look on Pozzums youtube channel I learned how to do it in minutes.

I don't mean as a CAW slot, I mean example replacing T2 for Punk, but instead of going through all the hassle (imo) of changing his name, render etc. I just edit T2's attire and save it as a CAW. But I did manage to get both the render and name and height/weight all of that in there, did it with cheat engine with a tutorial from Curb Stomp City, was pretty easy as well
