Load Modded Wrestler Crashing

Good evening everyone,

I own both WWE 2k15 and 2k16, and finally decided that this year I was going to try and mod WWE 2k16. I'm not a complete n00b when it comes to technical things like modding, but seem to be having an issue that I cannot pinpoint the cause of.

I followed this very helpful video from Spectator Sly, verbatim:

And ran into absolutely no issues and all of my screens, prompts, etc. were identical to his (with the exception of the modded wrestler showing up as Press Space instead of Press 10). However, when I go to load the modded version of CM Punk (CH131 from WWE 2k15), I get about halfway through the load of the match and the game crashes. Reading through a few posts on the forum, it seemed as though one cause for this issue was not changing line 800 on the pac in the hex editor, but I've double and triple checked - it all seems to be edited correctly for the in-ring and entrance attire. Does anyone have any suggestions of another area that I can check for errors? Been staring at this for a few hours, and I'm at a bit of a loss.

Some other notes:

- Using Windows 10

- Used pac files from my own WWE 2k15 PC directory, so nothing crazy should have happened by downloading someone else's damaged CM Punk pac file

Any help would be incredibly well appreciated, and also any suggestions for resources for a newbie modder would be helpful as well. I've read through several FAQs and watched a lot of videos already, it's sinking in slowly.

Thanks for the reply Onyx. I sort of gave up on getting Punk into the game at this point, and tried Tekken's Kurt Angle from WWE 2k15 using Pozzum's tutorial. I used the 2k15 wrestler files from last year's community DLC thread, and the updated Pofo/Moveset from the thread you provided. For whatever reason, after injecting slot 464 with Kurt Angle's info, I saw him in tťhe DLC section with the wrestler name "In Your House: Revenge of the Taker" instead of Kurt Angle. Additionally, the match wouldn't even load, so I'm having more than just naming issues. What am I missing here? Do I need to make any changes to the ch129.pac file, other than renaming it to ch464.pac, from last year to make this work?

I have the same issue for Hulk Hogan !!!!!

Still have zero luck with installing any modded wrestler.

Most recently, tried to install Mincho's AJ Styles. Followed the guide, and he did not show up in the Wrestler Selection screen. Additionally, after exiting WWE 2k16, the game would not boot until I deleted the pac files from my CH directory.

Holy shit. Just found mention in the tutorial section about the blank chunk cache file. That fixed everything.

Pozzum is truly an incredible resource for this community.

But I have just replaced the chunk file , but all Mods I try to import in game don't appears in the slot list in x-packer ......
