Done with the PC version

As many things as I'd love to do on this game. I'm going back to the PS4 and chalking up my money spent on tools and both games as a big lesson learned. I like to enjoy my game and play it. Modding really isn't my thing even if I do find a tutorial and can half decipher what I'm suppose to do. There's only a few that try to answer my questions and to them I'm forever grateful.

I wanted intergender matches and that's not as easy as it seems. I wanted wrestlers from at least 2k15 and thats no easy task. I have everything already set up on my PS4 for the Fed I run and it's just more hassle then fun when you have to take so long and rarely get much time if any to play a game you spent so much extra money on. Not that I feel bad about paying for anything. I always believe it's good to pay for what you feel is worth something. Just tired of all the other things that go along with it.

Today I had my game freeze on trying create a move set. Why on earth would it do that? I have no idea. Never did that until the future-proof string was added. Even after I removed it and everything else it was doing it and now it's reinstalling a whole new game but I don't see me using it. I may just uninstall them both just to have room on my pc for things I know I will play.

So much for what I was hoping to be a bright future on the PC for WWE. If anything in my opinion the PC version is worse then the PS4 even if I'm limited to the genders only matches. At least I never have my game crash on me for some unexpected reason and there are more then enough CAW's to make it worth doing.

I'm not saying all this to try and make anyone feel bad or sympathy just wanted to voice my opinion. True I didn't stay very long to really do much but I like to enjoy my game more then work on my game. I love making CAW's and Arena's and I can do those without mods. I don't use the music in my game anyway since I record everything then add the music back in that I want.

Strange they work for me. You just gotta have patience and try to fix stuff. The guy (No offence) couldn't follow very basic tutorials. I asked him to at least upload a video so I see what he's doing so I can try to help him but he said he can't. Anyway if you aren't willing to make your brain work ps4 is your place.

You could use cheat engine to switch the gender id's and set the divas to male, then you'd be able to have all matches be intergender

That's the easiest thing to mod pozzum has even give you all the address to change in xpacker all you have to do is go and find the right number and change male to female or vice versa. I am having a slight problem most of the free slots anit working correctly but it just take a lot of trial and error to get there. Plus I enjoy doing it as it feels good when you finally sus it.

I paid real money for my games. I can screen shot I have screen shots in the threads. It was making a movie of what I was doing that I had a hard time with. I have a paid version of Fraps that I just couldn't seem to get working while I was using Xpacker. So don't even try and give the pirate excuse on me.

Maybe you all missed my intro thread to? I'm a US Marine Vet. I have plenty of time and patience. I just prefer to use it to play my games when I actually play them more then try and fix what I might have messed up trying to add something I wish it had. I don't get to just sit and play all day I have a family that I also support and do things with. It's a nice thing though that I can sit home and enjoy time with them.

I may or may not try again later but right now I have a very sour taste in my mouth after some of the things said in this very thread.

There are plenty of tutorials for modding in superstars from 2K15 if you'd actually take the time to look. Smacktalks even told you exactly what you needed to do if you want intergender matches as well, so I really don't get what you're complaining about.

Repeatedly saying that you're a US Marine Vet doesn't automatically make you immune to criticism either. It has no relevance to this topic in all honesty.

First of all thanks for your service, my dad was a Marine as well. It sucks that you've been having problems, modding can be frustrating, hell it took me 100+ hours to get Skyrim stable after modding it, but this isn't the best place to find help, most people here are high-end power modders and the help section here is more geared toward mod creators and the technical side of model editing and whatnot, it isn't really meant for mod users. And while that sucks for you, who really wants to learn, you need to realize that they get bombarded with tons of messages on a daily basis, most of which are fairly nasty and as a result they usually end up blowing up and firing back an aggressive response. It isn't personal, it has nothing to do with you, they've just reached their boiling point. If you have questions about how to use mods, installing them, using the programs ect, you should sub to Pozzum on youtube, he is really helpful with high-end questions and tutorials, and sub to my youtube channel for lower level stuff. The modders are here to make mods, not to help people use them, youtube is the place for that. And to answer your screen cap issues, IMO fraps is kinda crappy. To capture something like Xpacker you need to use a desktop capture program like OBS or CamStudio not a game capture program that hooks into the exe. To capture footage of WWE 2K, you should just use Shadowplay if using Nvidea of Playstv if using AMD, or DXtory if you want raw uncompressed. 

Also dissing the PC and praising the PS4 in the PC section of any site is a very, very bad idea guaranteed to generate salt.

Deanalizer guess what? I don't need nor do I want anyone's sympathy. I choose to serve this country of my own free will. Whether or not that has any relevance to this or any other topic I write I'm proud of that fact so I will state it proudly. For more information since you too must be blind and only read what you want to see. I have looked over a lot of the tutorials here and most not all are for 2k15 which is fine. Only not all of them work the same so yes I have questions. And yes when I ask one even a noobish one I expect a hopeful answer. That however was not the case. There were about a handful of people that would try and have some patience for people like me. Most seem more worried about making their next big mod then trying to help someone else learn what they seem to already have down to a science.

Apost Khan, I'd like to say to your father that you do him proud. Thanks for his service as well. Actually I won't lie. I don't like lying. The whole reason I did mention the PS4 was that I knew it would piss a few people off. While I do still own both games on PC and they are both still installed on my machine. I just don't play them. Maybe if you'd like though since you seem to have a much easier temperament then it seems a lot here do. You could PM me a few other places to look?

For anyone that really cares I'll state it clearly. The only things I really would like to do with my version of 2k16 is have intergender matches because I miss those tag-teams from the old WWE days and in my Fed before they changed this we actually had an intergender tag-team title. I'd also like as stated previously to be able to maybe easily add other wrestlers from 15 into my game in slots that aren't being used by another wrestler. I'm pretty sure where I went wrong was trying to over right anyone. Why should I really do that when I can just not use whoever it is that I really don't want. Renaming a few was easy enough. The only draw back to that was I had to make an alt attire which took up CAW space so maybe not the best idea. Since I really think all WWE games seem to lack on the Diva's side much like they do in real life I want those from the past game more then anything else that includes the non-wrestling ones. Even if that means having doubles in 16 because some of them are in both. That just gives me spots where I can potentially over right a diva to replace with one that's not a part of either game.

Either way I never started this whole thing to really offend anyone though clearly I seem to have. I was giving my impressions and how I felt about the PC version and how much work modding for this particular game really seems to be. That being said I have a lot of respect for the modders that really do go out of their way like Tekken and Pozzum being the first two that come to my mind and K.G. who made the trainer that I also paid for. I don't think everything should have to come free but I do believe that when someone asks a question a decent answer or maybe a link to the right tutorial might go a lot further then ignoring or just telling them to go look them up.

Clearly you only read what you want to see since you completely overlooked the fact that Smacktalks told you how to do intergender matches. It's as simple as downloading cheat engine and quite literally clicking a box. It couldn't be anymore straightforward.

I didn't miss what Smacktalks said. In fact I was and am planning on doing just that. At least that will give me one thing in the PC version I'll never have on PS4. And you are wrong again because you obviously misunderstood the whole point or reason I even mentioned my time in the Corp and being a Vet. It was to show that I have a lot probably too much free time on my hands. Not for ego stroking or whatever other nice words you like to use. That was the only relevance it was even used for.

The thing is with me and always has been and probably is with most of the community here so I may have spoken way out of turn and for that I apologize. Time is important and the most precious of all things we'll ever have. So yes I should probably try and understand more why I'm not always getting quick answers. Just some horrible attitudes in this thread. You know Dean if I can use that? If I actually knew you I'd probably love you as a person because at least I know one thing. You aren't afraid to speak your mind and that I do admire.

However I'm not apologetic when it comes to the Corps issue. I've said why I mentioned it and I won't speak of it again. Because you know you're right. It's never been something I actually flaunted or talked a whole lot about. I am proud to be a Marine always was though and always will be.

Eh, people can be pretty douchey on here sometimes so just for the record,  a lot of the modders and even just standard players in the WWE community do not represent PC modding as a whole. As I have said myself many times, the WWE2k modding community is VERY different and frequently not in a good way.  lol If you want help, send me a PM and I'm pretty sure I can talk you through it. I'm new to modding this series but I have learn a ton the past few weeks. In fact, I have learned so much that I am working on a couple of  mod projects of my own for the WWE2k community.

Auday honestly I'd appreciate any help and the more detailed and easier it is to follow for me at least the better. When you have time to do so. I don't expect everyone to go out of their way though to help some noob and admittedly that's just what I know I am to this community. I've said that from the start so anyone willing to help understood that. Knowing anything about computers doesn't mean a thing when it comes to a lot of this stuff. Yes I have Xpacker 2k16. It was the first thing I purchased after buying the actual game then I bought 2k15. If you're willing then I'm listening or watching as the case may be.

Not everyone on here is or seems to be bad. I generally think they're mostly just busy with working on their own thing so they may not always have the time. If that comes off as arrogance it's really on my part more then theirs. Time is the most valuable. I said that before and we all have to choose how we feel best to use it.

My connection to the internet is very spotty today so I may not be online all that much. I have a tech scheduled for tomorrow (Like that does much good today lol) So this is my reply and I sure hope it gets through.

there are so many tutorials on the thread u can always ask Pozzum for any help regarding adding superstars or changing genders

modding can't be learned in 1 day

there is so much trial & error involved in the process

u will eventually learn

The only reason I assumed you pirated, was because pirate game change values and addresses around. Generally, it's harder to mod a pirated game than a genuine game. If you have evidence that you bought the game, then please, show it, and I shall rest my case!  I think the best way to help you, is with remote support, however I don't think that's allowed on the forums. @SmackTalks, is that correct?

Kopmeister I'm sorry about this but I have no idea if that was meant as a compliment towards myself or reinforcing what Deanalizer had to say. Either way I agree with the statement you have in that picture. This is America at least that's where I live. So saying what I feel for whatever reason may or maybe not relevant to whatever topic. I'm still free to speak it. Not that that is always a good choice but it certainly is a choice.

Jakeypearce to you all I can say is you were going with your own feelings which you are allowed. I however would never condone piracy. I've learned with age that some things are just worth paying for. If I said I never pirated a thing in my life that would be a lie and I'm sure most people have but hopefully we mature to a point where we learn and understand the whole reason things have a price. First of all, this tutorial uses X-Packer 2016 so you must have that.

Open Xpacker

 

Go to file>WWE 2K16>PC Save file>Wrestler info

 

Now browse for MAINBODY0000 usually located in your Program Files (x86)>Steam>User data>385730>Remote. If you can't find it search for it in the search panel.

 

Now all the slots will pop up. For example Rock is slot 100 so I search for that.

 

When you find the slot double click on it and a pofo editor should pop up. Change the gender to whatever you want then press inject.

 

After that open the game (DO NOT QUIT X_PACKER) and go to the main menu, must be the main menu! While you're on the main menu open your x-packer window and press save changes into memory. Then you can quit X-Packer. After that go to my wwe then go to edit superstar then edit Adam Rose's crowd reaction and save it.

 

This tutorial is SO easy, I expect you to be able to do it.
