magnoun Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Since the game came out I've been trying to figure out how to get 2k15 wrestlers that aren't in 2k16 in the game and I know that initially the only option was to replace current characters but now with the newest xpacker update it seems we can add them without having to replace anyone. Could someone let me know how to do so? I've looked at so many of the 2k15 tutorials but then they talk about pofos, strings and bring up files like plistwin32 or something like that which I don't even think are in the 2k16 folders making it really complicated for someone new at this starting to add mods for the first time in 2k16. If someone could let me know how I could do this I would really appreciate it.Thanks 1 Quote
dunhill1986 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Are you using xpacker I was in the same boat as you but gave it a full day off messing and now I no how to put modded wrestler's into the game. Quote
OnyxRain Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 I do use Xpacker but if you know a faster and maybe easier way please let me know. You can do that here with steps please as I'm easily lost I won't lie. Or you can just PM it to me the same way. Either way I'll be grateful. It'll be nice to start adding them now that we have the future string to use for extra space with names. Quote

To install superstar without replacing, you need to install them to use an unused superstar pach. You can find which pach is not used from pozzum's spreadsheet. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qNaw8L-sHsG62Q2e8sSKj-wLR1VLR6-g32S1zqPaQdo/edit#gid=0 As you can see, each wrestler has his own pach. 104 is for Chris Jericho, 107 is for Kane, etc. You can install a superstar to pach 460 because it doesn't belong to any wrestler. 2. Pofos are files containing a superstar's information, such as name, attributes, brand, height, weight, etc. 3. strings.pac is a file containing texts and name in WWE 2K16, like WRESTLEMANIA 31, DANIEL BRYAN, PRESS START, etc. 4. You don't need plistwin32 for WWE 2K16. Quote

I also know about some of the empty spots from Tekken's thread but the issue is I still don't know how to add Hogan, Punk, RVD and such to 2k16 in those empty spots. Quote

dunhill1986 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 I didn't do it the same way as this guy but still works no the less. I'm finding that alot of the slots don't always work.First I took cm punk from 2k15 and renamed his PAC from 131 to 60902. Then I opened the PAC with hxd hex editor I scrolled down to where it said EMD and changed the number to the same as the PAC name 609. Then I pressed control F and made sure it was on text-string and typed xxx I then changed it to yyy. And saved. Then I loaded my save game then xpacker loaded the memory up control u. Then I went to slot 460 entered 609 in wreslter ID and set full name to 6A7A then went to save in game then tested the wrestler was working. If you quit out of wwe you will need to take your back up save out otherwise you will get corrupt data. Quote
