Can I add more alternative outfits to my own caws too?

No, that doesn't work with the Attire Unlocker unfortunately. Perhaps it can be done with a trainer or something, you'd have to ask those that make them, though.

Since too many people were still downloading the outdated standalone version of the Universal Alternate Attire Unlocker and had no clue what to do with it or why their modded wrestlers didn't have alternate attires unlocked, I've changed all the links to the standalone version to point to the Wrestler Information and Moveset Creator 2k16 instead.
The Wrestler Information and Moveset Creator 2k16 exclusively includes the latest version of the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock, features a relatively easy to use Graphical User Interface to install the Universal Attire Unlocker (if not already installed) and change which hundred wrestlers have Alternate Attires Unlocked and how many attires are unlocked for each with a press of the "Unlock Alternate Attires" Button in the Moveset Tab.
If you're still using the standalone version and don't rally know what to do with it, please download and use the Wrestler Information and Moveset Creator 2k16 built-in-AlternateGUI before. Thank you very much.

READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING: The Universal Alternate Attire Unlock 2k16 is now part of the Wrestler Information and Moveset Creator 2k16 tool which allows you to switch wrestlers with alternate attires using a graphical user inteface. It is highly recommended to use the  Wrestler Information and Moveset Creator 2k16 tool and install the latest version of the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock included with it instead of using the outdated, stand-alone distribution of the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock 2k16.

Synopsis: This mod unlocks 10 Attire slots for the current maximum of 100 wrestlers. It is a helper mod that is meant to be used in conjunction with mods that add and change alternate attires for people that do not wish to undertake any hex editing themselves. Please read the readme for details, instructions and more!
Works only with the official Steam release version of WWE 2k16.

hi Cave wave rider, its me again.

I am just starting to mod 2k16 now, and i was wondering if this is the same as 2k15. what i mean is: Example: currently on 2k16 Austin has like 5 attires i think. And i want to keep the names of those attires cause i get confused when all of them are just attire 1,2,3,4,5,etc.

if I install this, would it make austin's attires to be attire 1,2,3,4,5? cause i kind of want to keep the other people's attire names cause i get confused when picking from attire 1,2,3.. what im trying to do is have universal attire unlocker,, but not overwrite the attire names of people such as austin who have multiple attire names.

I am planning to rename some attire names using hxd String edit. so i can customize attires. My problem is i need your universal attire unlocker to first unlock the attire, then i could rename it.. but im afraid it will overwrite all the existing attires names orignally in game.

The 22 wrestlers that already have alternate attire names in the game have their default attire names in the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock, as it states in the readme. It's only once you make a change and save it with the GUI of the WIAMC/Data Editor that this is overwritten with Attire 1-10 at the moment (if you just install it with WIAMC/Data Editor without making changes to attires in the GUI and just edit things manually it should retain the attire names, or you just copy the .pac file from the Resources Folder). And yes, renaming attires is the same as it was in WWE 2k15.

I see, ive actually been playing with the program. and i think having custom attire names with your application will be difficult especially when adding new attires, since they will again get renamed when trying to add an attire slot. i think a button which will say 'lock #of attires and names' where when you click save it wont edit the ones locked. lol but thats easy to say and very hard to do i guess. Anyway thank you for your application! i will still be using this for pofos movesets and attires, since i dont know how to unlock an attire without your program. lol. :D :D

The way it's coded right now this would not be an easy change. I'd like to rewrite the whole Attire Unlocker GUI down the line so it will simply support customization of attire names. It likely won't be too soon, though, as I've got some other things on my plate I need to work on first.

maybe 2k17 hehehe,, im sorry if i offended you in anyway, your program is still life saving, i give up on editing the misc 01 by myself ,, it just gave me double vision, perhaps i can just put custom names when im ulitmately done adding attires using your program :)

Is the winning music bug fixed? :lol

None of the many music bugs have been fixed yet, as 2k hasn't delivered another patch since 1.01. Hopefully they will soon, though. Not sure if they'll ever fix this one, though, as winning music works fine for the attires that are in the game and they don't really care if it works for mods. If they fix the rest of the music bugs they might accidently fix it with them, though, haha.

yeah haha. Its sad that they didnt care about their own game.
hopefully wwe2k17 will be a good wrestling game likelike SvR 2008 which was the best. Its a waste that they added the backstage brawl only on ps3 and xbox360. I wish they will add it
in 2k17

Guess I was wrong. Well, not fully, as it truly appears to be a bug in the game. The (possibly) good news is that I may have (by coincidence when trying to figure out a bug with the upcoming Data Editor 2k16) found a workaround to fix it and have winning music for all attires. Don't get too excited, though, as I do not know if it works for all wrestlers, so far it worked for the limited number of ones I tested with. If more testing confirms my find, I'll add an option to apply the workaround to the character in the Moveset section of the upcoming Data Editor 2k16 (currently WIAMC). There is a nasty side-effect to the workaround, though, wrestlers that have different entrance themes for different attires seem to default to their primary entrance music of their first attire for all attires including the ones that had their own Entrance music.

Hey cave i would like to change the suggestion i made, you dont have to put a button where it says unlock or lock attire name and attire slots,, just make the program only save the things that were edited,, not renaming the whole file? hehe just a suggestion if every you push through with this hehehe :D

Thank you, but it doesn't matter, the way it's coded now (which is awkward) it isn't possible without lots of work. Once I rewrite the Unlocker to be more flexible various things will be possible, just not right now. If it was otherwise I'd have implemented a better solution already.
It'll take time, so please be patient as this is alot of work and I need to find the time next to my job, studies and other commitments to work on the Data Creator Tool. It isn't a feature that is a priority for me now either, as there are some things I need to get done for compatibility with the upcoming CCT and some stuff that is missing from the Moveset Editor. Once I get the time to rework the Attire Unlocker, I will. By the way, typing up these replies also takes away from my time working on the tool, which only delays things further. ;)

Just a heads-up, the Data Editor for WWE 2k16 v.0.5.0 with the workaround to enable winning music for all attires of the wrestler you apply it to has been released.

Not with the Alternate Attire Unlocker, no. Not sure if there are any other ways, perhaps by creating the same CAW for two CAW slots and then making the game believe one of them is an alternate attire for the other one by some memory/savegame editing, but I wouldn't know how to do that and I wouldn't be surprised if the game finds that the save is corrupted after you'd do that.

quick question...do we get any HIDDEN attires (of course excluding the unlockables) of the default set of superstars when you have JUST installed the game? LIKE...without the software, HHH '01 has 2/3 (?) attires (with 100% unlocked). But, since the number of attires has increased to 10, do the remaining 8 contain any hidden attire by default when you install the software? I noticed the other day when I picked Mankind, he came out wearing a referee shirt. Is that from the list of unlockables? Or is that sth which you get bonus by installing this software?

In other words, I'm asking whether this is an infinite alternate attire unlocker or infinite alternate attire spot unlocker?

Please answer my question, as I will consider all those factors when choosing which superstars do I replace the mods over.

Some wrestlers have hidden attires that can't normally be played and are meant for Showcase mode. But yes, with the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock you can unlock these attires as well. Attires come in the form of ch*.pac files. So if a Superstar has 4 attires of which 2 are unlocked by default and two hidden and inaccessible except for Showcase Mode, if you use the Attire Unlocker and unlock four, you will have access to all four of these attires. If you unlocked 10, you could add up to 6 more attires for that wrestler via mods and use them.

As the readme states, the unlocker isn't infinite. You can only have up to 10 selectable attires via the game menus for up to 100 different Superstars each (plus additional CAW attires). This is a limitation of the game.
Note, however, you can potentially use and access more than 10 alternate attires per Superstar (potentially for more than the 100 Superstars unlocked with the Unlocker, too) via Pozzum's Match Select Tool 1.3 or later, if your superstar has Extra Attire Slots assigned in the tool.

Also, there is no need to replace any superstars. You can easily add them with the help of tools like the Data Editor for WWE 2k16, with which you can also unlock attires for them just like with regular superstars, and Custom Character Tools wich will allow you to install them with relative ease.

I installed the mod on a clean version of the game via "Data Editor".At first, everything okay , but the game crashes after the request " press start ". What is the problem?

P.S. Sorry for my English language skills , it is not my primary language .

Have you installed the startup crash fix (empty chunk_cache.bin) so the game doesn't crash with mods?
To do so, open the Data Editor, go to the "Tools, Help,..." tab, scroll down to "WWE 2k16 Game Tools" and click the "Fix Startup Crash with Mods" button. Follow the steps to install the fix, then start the game. It'll hopefully work then.
Alternatively, you can also follow the stickied topic with the wierd name by Pozzum that will show you how to do it manually if you want.

As already mentioned in an earlier reply, it doesn't work this way for CAWs. The game handles CAW attires differently and each CAW is limited to two attires. The Universal Alternate Attire Unlock works with existing Wrestlers and additional modded wrestlers only.

SO....i have an issue that no matter if i manually edit the misc01_start_dlc10.pac file or use the Data Editor, i cannot get any additional attires for slot #77 & on up. So for instance like when i select Jushin Liger & set his attires to 3 & save (manually or through the data editor) i still only have 1 attire for him. I have double-check for duplicate entries & also any .bak files left in the folders. I noticed this after adding customer attire names & everything is perfect & works fine all the way up to the wrestler i have in #76 (Chris Hero) and he has 3 attires that are selectable.

Does anyone else have this problem? I can only use 76 wrestlers with unlocked attires, not 100 wrestlers.

Are you using the misc01_start_dlc10.pac that comes with the latest version of the Universal alternate attire Unlock or another one? Others likely have less than 100 slots available. Only the file that comes with the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock is supported by the GUI, too, so you might want to try re-installing the Universal Alternate Attire Unlock and setting the attires for the wrestlers you want anew with the GUI.
