kim666 Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 (edited) One thing that bugs me are these duplicate Wrestlers. For example Jake Roberts and Jake Roberts '91. Specially in universe mode. One way to solve this would be to rename the pac/pach files of one Jake Roberts to add him as 2nd attire to the other Jake Roberts. But here i want to describe another method:Open Jake Roberts in CAW mode and save him as alternate attire. Now copy his caw to caw slot 15 (i only have this hex offset atm)Start cheat engine and browse in memory mode to offset 14289E1B4You should see jake's id in hex 84 00 (132), we change this to Jake Roberts '91 id 88 01 (392).Howto convert DEC to HEXUse one of these online dec hex converters (google!) if you convert Jake Roberts '91 id 396 into hex you will get 01 88, but 2k16 is in big endian (take a look at wiki if you wanna know more). So we have to byte swap this into 88 01.So change 84 00 to 88 01Now as usual do something in my wwe to save the game. Jake Roberts '91 should now have 2 attires. You can do alot weird stuff. You can have kane as alternate attire for undertaker and so on. Not sure, if this leads to anything, but I thought I write it down Edited March 15, 2016 by kim666 2 Quote
OnyxRain Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 That sure would free up space to use but aren't all the wrestlers only limited to 2 alt attires? So I couldn't put all those Steve Austins onto the main one so then there's really only 1 with all his extras. Quote

But i did a quick test and i can confirm that you can bypass this shit following this tutorial. My jake roberts has now 3 alternate attires. Quote
heelsquared Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I know this is pretty obvious but I just want the confirmation, this would use up one of the 100 custom character slots right? Quote
kim666 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 yes, you loose a custom character slot. Quote
OnyxRain Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 That answers the only other questions I had on this. Thanks for sharing Kim. Quote
George Nasser Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 (edited) so with that can we put all the stone cold steve austins into one and replace one of them like with cm punk from wwe 2k15 ?? Edited March 15, 2016 by George Nasser Quote
kim666 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 so with that can we put all the stone cold steve austins into one and replace one of them like with cm punk from wwe 2k15 ??Glad you asked, because i tried that and something real weird happend. I replaced jake roberts pac file with eri's koko b ware. Now when i load jake's alternate attire, the game loads koko's 3d model but still jake's textures. Now i have a funny looking koko/jake hybrid^^To answer your question, no you can not use this to replace a char. Quote

kim666 Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 a normal kane will appear as alt attire for undertaker. But if you swap kane's pac file with somebody else, then the game will load his 3d model, but with kane's entrance gear and kanes textures (face, etc).I didn't test the moves so far. Quote
TheHeartbrokenKid Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 (edited) This is what I did last year, and it should work now as well:Just find the pac file of the alternate slots, change the pach numbers and name of the file accordingly, and it works as an alternate attire to the original wrestler. I was waiting for the attire unlocker to try this out, but I'm pretty sure it'll workOf course, you'd have to name it according to the slot, but that's not very hard tbh. LexRed Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 That's right, it is a lot better to have them as alt attire than as separate wrestlers. I did that with 2k15. You can actually save some slots by doing that. Quote
ahmedmedo07 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 so doesn't that affect him in the show case mod ? Quote
