dame . I would love to keep that savage cause the attires on him.

can u change it to replace the dlc savage? unless u making a 10 attire for dlc savage oldschool wwf?

if its to much trouble its cool

You can change it easily, open the ch pac, scroll down and change the numbers from 23202 to 19702 for the ring attire and 23204 to 19704 for the entrance attire.

I hope you do these amazing mods when 2k17 is released on PC. It'll be amazing to see what you can do with the backstage areas as well if possible

If you just rename the files (change the three digits after ch to 197 on any attires you want to change), then inject them with Custom Character Tools and all the hex will be done for you based on the filename :)

I think it will, 2K only tend to do big changes in their file systems when they switch over to a new gen console. I'm pretty much looking to make sure that anything that's portable to the next game is done in advance so I can continue my project and finish it on that game rather than this one ;)

with you switching Corbin to Savage, how do I replace the call name etc to savage? I'm completely ignorant to things like this right now considering my concerns have only been Sting and arenas so far

maybe @4 Life can help as well as anyone else who knows

Easiest way to do a simple swap/replacement like this would be:

Open the DLC40.pck file in the sound folder with Ravioli Game Tools (Savage's files are in there)

Find Savage's entrance sound files (IDs HERE)

Extract them as a wwise file (this just means extracting without any conversion - converting fucks up the volume, so I only ever do that if I'm using the sounds to make custom audio). Rename the file extension to .wem

Add the relevant code for Corbin's ID's into the data.xml file in your Sound Injector folder, then those should appear on the list in SI for you to inject the extracted sounds into. So for example, his billing info will be:

<item id="272324146" name="Corbin Billing Info" soundPathId="6" />

The item ID comes from the table above, the name is whatever you choose it to be and the sound path ID in this case is 6 because all of his sounds are in the ra_m.pck file.

You can put that code under the themes coding if you like, personally I've placed a new header in the file so a separate list is made for call names I put in.

For future reference, the sound path IDs for each file:

0 game_sound_m.pck

1 dlc20.pck - contains call names
2 dlc30.pck - contains call names
3 dlc40.pck - contains call names
4 game_sound_e_s.pck
5 ra_e_s.pck
6 ra_m.pck - contains call names
7 comm_ch.pck
8 comm_common1_e_s.pck
9 comm_common1_m.pck
10 comm_common2_e_s.pck
11 comm_common2_m.pck
12 comm_common3_e_s.pck
13 comm_common3_m.pck.pck
14 comm_specific_e_s.pck
15 comm_specific_m.pck
16 crowd_chants_e_s.pck
17 crowd_chants_m.pck

so far I got to where I have Savages call name sounds from Ravioli game tools and renaming the file i got to wem. from there I'm confused. I don't see anything like that in my data.xml just generic themes, themes and soundtracks.

i just want everything set to where everything is savage, in game and entrance there will be no mention of corbin as if he doesn't exist and it's only savage

Yeah, there are no values for call names in there by default, you have to literally paste your code in as a new line. This will then add it as a new item in the list in Sound injector - you can paste it under the entrance theme codes and it'll appear there, or you could make a new header to add a new list in Sound Injector. Just try adding the code under themes first though to see how you go.

This is just for his entrance call names of course - the commentators will still refer to him as Baron Corbin during the matches. The only way to stop this from happening would be to find all his commentator sounds, which will be spread all throughout the several sound files, and there are thousands of sounds to sift through and you'd have to find them all manually. So, as you can imagine, we generally don't bother replacing all that, just the entrance sounds.

Really hoping the PC version of 2K17 comes out in October. Just knowing that we're not totally behind might give me the incentive to start replacing everything. I was hoping for separate commentary teams for RAW and Smackdown with this game so I could separate them into WWF and WCW replacing all the commentary but that's not happening. Might be interesting to have a mixed WWF/WCW commentary team, it'd take fucking ages but if I finish everything else in good time with the next game then it might be something I look into. It's 100% doable, it'd just take fucking ages :lol

We should try to do both team and make the files easily switchable. one full WWF / one full WCW. Should be doable with the audio files from past games and whatnot, I just can't convert them myself at the moment, I'd do it for WWE 2K16 actually, at least I'd need an empty audio so I can cut out announcers and call names that I don't want in but the referee would still play. The audio setup in this game isn't good 'Voice' also makes the ref go away, which is totally stupid.
