Matt6sic6 Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I recently installed the Hogan Mega Pack, after some tweaking I was able to install all 3 at the same time without Pac Plus by overwriting a slot and tweaking the String so the names read Hulk Hogan '88 and Hulk Hogan '02. The only problem I'm having left to deal with is the '02 Hogan's entrance. When he rips off his shirt, the color of the shirt switches from Red '02 texture to Yellow '88 texture. What can I do to fix this? I'm not 100% but I foresee the same thing happening if I choose to install any of LouEvil76's TNA attires. How can I make these shirts stay Independent and not reverting to Hogan's '88? Quote

Perfectplex Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 An entrance file and some winning animations override some of 2K16's files causing conflicts as seen in this thread.Here is a fix.What it does is move the clashing files to an empty slot.I have provided these as separate files.What I tend to do is have 2K15 stuff in its own folder in the pac folder, except titantrons which have to be placed in the proper folder.Ignore the Audience Signs folder and the fact my ch folder is empty, I am working on something but you get the idea, this way you have all the 2K15 stuff separate and easy to add, remove and modify with.It also prevents overwriting files.Here are the evt files which are the entrance and winning animations.http://www98.zippyshare.com/v/amznQ53q/file.html Here is a look at what you will have with this file. Am I missing something?Sorry for late reply, the never ending problems with my pc and internet continue as I lost internet for 2 days thanks to BT and their incompetence.As Pozzum mentioned you must change the ID within the pac itself, the pac names are actually pretty much for reference only, the game doesn't pay no mind to the actual names of the files for the most part other than their alphabetical reading order, what it looks for is the pach files within to store into memory and the ones it stores into memory are the ones with the last call. So if pach file 00405 is in A and B the game will read A then store 00405 from that but then it reads B and realises it has a 00405 too so replaces the former with the latter. If you then rename A to C it will read B then C and prioritise C over B because that is the last instance that it read into memory.It also means the folder structure within pac is mostly irrelevant too, which is why I have my 2K15 files in their own folder and I also have a folder called zzMods, the zz is just to ensure it reads that folder last incase of clashing files and prioritises the mods.Hope that all made sense. I just thought about it though, I think where it was late and I wasn't thinking clearly, I'm pretty sure thinking back that I copied the Hogan file, renamed it and then looked in there for 509 instead of 413 I do some stupid shit sometimes. I'll try it again later, gotta work this time, cheers pal!EDIT: Maybe I didn't do it wrong after all. Dunno WHY this isn't working. Deleted 00509. Copied in Hogan's 00413. Renamed that to 00509. Hex edited both values from 413 to 509 and saved. Got rid of the .bak. Still not working. Tried the same with Viktor's file, still plays his entrance too. Also, I've replaced Konnor with Hogan and currently have Hogan's entrance applied via Data Editor but there's absolutely no way to get rid of the monochrome effect that way it seems, even when manually removed or some other screen effect is selected the monochrome always seems to override your choice. I was hoping that actually having the animations in the game might mean I'd be able to use the Hogan anims without the monochrome effect.EDIT: Aha, just spotted something. When I use Easy Creation under CAE, Konnor's entrance has indeed been replaced. However, in Advanced, it's still Konnor's. Since I was hoping to get rid of the monochrome, having it in Advanced is what I wanted to see if that'd work. Am I out of luck here? Edited August 25, 2016 by 4 Life Quote

But yeah, turns out the swap was working all along as per the edit above, just doesn't appear in the Advanced Creation so I'm guessing the advanced creation parts have different files.
