Old entrance animations!

Can you guys record a video with the results if possible? Also... have you tried to Breakout those entrances??? Does the breakout work??? 

 

Here you are:

Hulk aka Santino Marella (haven't changed much, only entrance, pac and music). Anything else is Santino Marella. Also lightning is still from him.

Uploading right now

You don't need to inject anything or use Xpacker to port the 2K15 animations.

For Hogan copy "Entrance00.pac" and rename it to "00201.pac" (this is Santino's entrance animation).

Open your newly name 00201.pac with a HEX editor like HxD and look for value "109".

You should see two 109 entries, change them both to 201 like the picture below.

The way you did this could cause interference with the other animations in the foler if they've been changed between 2K15 & 2K16.  It may work, but it's also a bit messy.

 

Best way would be to repack with the animations needed at the fron and the other animations changed to DUM names. (Dummy Files) This would require X-Packer or a good understanding of how pacs work.

Yea its messy but seems like the game looks for the animation associated with the PAC name and disregards the rest. You can always rename the rest of the animations to 0000 to be safe.

We should be able to load these animations with cheatengine so this method is nothing more than a quick replacement for the time being for those that don't have Xpacker.

Anyways I am also testing moveset animations. Trying to see if Hogans leg drop from 2k15 can be used.

What about breakouts? were you guys able to break the imported entrances or did it crash?? ( like trying to nut-kick Hogan in the middle of his entrance )

There doesn't seem to be a breakout option.

Only entrances from wwe2k15 (pc) will work, the older entrances from 2k14,13,12 are in a slightly different format and won't work in the pc version

Curious. What are the differences in format?

This is great news and was able to add CM Punk back in. I have found that I can't seem to find The Terminator T-800 Entrance (Nor the other Terminator) Anyone got any insight?

523 / 524 for T-800 / Terminator 2 Respectively.

I just tried replacing Zack Ryder's entrance with ADR's, as per #Villain's request. It worked. I go into Santino's (where CM Punk's entrance should be), and it resets itself back to Santino's default entrance. I replace Santino's entrance with CM Punk's, which works, however Zack now has his standard entrance animation. So it looks like you can only have ONE entrance from 2K15. :(

Well, for me both Del Rio and Punk work!

Thing is, it only works when I set their entrances in "simple entrance" (or however that called) - When I try in "Advanced Entrance" it just gets them to their default entrance... Which quite annoys me because of the lights.. CM Punk doesn't go well with Italian flag style lights....

Has anyone tried to setup an advanced entrance first and then replace the animation without going into create an entrance and straight to the match? I know this happened a few times to me in 2K15 when editing entrances, they would just revert.

Something I found.

I am in the process of removing Termination A1 from my game and thought I could just replace the entrance with CM Punk however this is what happens when you do it on the default file.

I tried again, this time replacing Santinos entrance, renaming it to the terminator and putting in my game. It all works fine but for the lighting and this weird glow which would be the ring of fire.

That's VERY interesting! I believe the lights are handled by pac\evt\light. See what happens when you rename, say, Santino's with T-800.

That seems to have fixed the fire/lighting issue. The only problem that is there now, would be the camera work still be weird (Unless that is how it was last year... ) Does anyone know if nameplates are supposed to be disabled for entrance we import over? I can't remember if Arnold A1 has a name plate pop up or not.

In the midst of testing my new custom pach, I used Santino's slot which is where i installed Punk's entrance, and I don't have this hovering problem you all have. Very weird.

Noticed that the lighting/fire still makes sound even with music off. Looking for that file now.

That seems to have fixed the fire/lighting issue. The only problem that is there now, would be the camera work still be weird (Unless that is how it was last year... ) Does anyone know if nameplates are supposed to be disabled for entrance we import over? I can't remember if Arnold A1 has a name plate pop up or not.

perhaps try chaing the entrance animation hex in my table to the original animation number punk used to use and just copy over the old animation file?  I'm not sure if that will work.

The weird camera angle only seems to happen on arenas with ramps. I have also removed the sound effects of the file (sound_sfx.pac) I replaced the 523 (Terminator) with 201 (Santino) No fire and entrance now works fine.

sound_sfx.pac = Sound Effects of Fire and Lighting
light/ el00523.pac = Fire & Lighting effects

 

EDIT: This method seems to have muted the music. Hmm, guess I'll have to swap the terminator for someone else.

SECOND EDIT: Anyone got a good slot CM Punk can go in? I don't want to use Santino as I don't want the green/red lights

I have 0 mods added at the moment, and I also get the weird Camera angle, especially in the NXT arena. I think it's a bug in the game
