jakeypearce Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 What version of Wwise do you have? You may have to use an older version (what's said in the brackets). Quote
MajorPayne Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 but the version I downloaded was from the first page . how do I get older ? Quote
TheVisitorX Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) WWise 2014.1.5 from the first page is the right version. Make sure that your path to the WWise CLI is correct (You can change the path to WWise in the settings). Edited August 14, 2016 by TheVisitorX Quote
jakeypearce Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) VisitorX, I still need help. Let me quote my post:Sorry to necrobump here, however I just tried to use the Game_Sound_M.pck from the PS3 version of 2K16. I first tried to open the file with Ravioli to verify the IDs are the same as on the PC version, which they are (i.e. 43706812 is Rock's '00-'01 on PS3 and PC). The way you inject manually via hex is the same as 2K14 (which is the same on 2K15 and 16 on PC). Upon attempt, SI tries to find the hex address for 43706812 (BC E9 9A 02), which can't be found. I looked at the pck in a hex editor and I couldn't find it either. What can I do? Edited August 14, 2016 by jakeypearce Quote
TheVisitorX Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) Unfortunately I don't have access to the PS3 source files so I'm not sure how it looks compared to the PC version but what I can say is that The Rock '00-'01 is a DLC character so he shouldn't be in the the game_sound_m.pck file. His sound file is located in one of the dlc.pck files. I think it's dlc40.pck because he was part of that DLC.Edit: That's wrong. His sound file is in the game_sound_m.pck but the game uses his updated file from dlc40!Update: You could try to find the id without flipping the values. So 02 9A E9 BC instead of BC E9 9A 02. Edited August 14, 2016 by TheVisitorX Quote
jakeypearce Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 I can send you the files by PM, if you want. Quote
TheVisitorX Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 Indeed the values are different in the PS3 version. Do not reverse them, so The Rock's id in hex is 02 9A E9 BC. 1 Quote
jakeypearce Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Just tried that and it didn't work. Tried again in dlc40, and it found it. What do I do for SI? Quote
TheVisitorX Posted August 15, 2016 Author Posted August 15, 2016 (edited) Strange. I've also found his id 02 9A E9 BC in the game_sound_m.pck (PS3)... You can't do much with SI right now because it does not support that. So you have to do it manually. But you could try to change his hex value to BC E9 9A 02 and then use SI. And after injection switch it back to 02 9A E9 BC. But I'm not sure if that is working.. Because the offset and file size values are also reversed. Edited August 15, 2016 by TheVisitorX Quote
Cave Waverider Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 (edited) Indeed the values are different in the PS3 version. Do not reverse them, so The Rock's id in hex is 02 9A E9 BC.Indeed. The Endianness is reversed on most older consoles compared to the PC. Newer consoles that use the x86-64 architecture (like Xbox One, PS4) should be the same as PC, however. jakeypearce Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 (edited) Looks like it did it:» Start Processing» Please DO NOT CANCEL OR CLOSE APPLICATION UNTIL INJECTION HAS FINISHED !!!!» Searching for sound file: BC E9 9A 02» Sound file found in offset: 00000E60» Get exact sound position in offset» Get last line offset» Last line offset is: 07B0BD91» Get next possible line offset» Next possible line offset is: 07B0C000» Reset file sizes» Inject file size: 1C 85 26 00» Get existing file offset» Existing file offset is: 78000000» Replace existing data with data from sound file» DONE - You can now safely close this program!EDIT: The file size is a gigabyte. Looking at the pck, Rock's ID is gone, and 3169425922 has increased to (in KB) 478,488,064, or 478MB. Edited August 15, 2016 by jakeypearce Quote

Def Dave Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Good to hear that, mate. I think my issue must be different. I'm getting a .NET framework error now when trying to convert. I think I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling Sound Injector and see what happens. It's weird because I used to be able to convert without issue a few months ago. Quote
TX.Trash Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Sorry to comment on a old thread, but I just recently bought this game and was looking into how change the music. I have followed this thread on how, but have ran into a few problems. First when i clicked the links to download audiokinect it says "error invalid code" on both links, and nothing shows upSo i went to the site and downloaded 2014.6 and tried that. But now im having pathway issues. Sound injector when trying to convert a file says i dont have audiokinect or my pathway may not be right. Any help would be appreicated. Quote
kingjefftheawesome Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 So, I followed all of the instructions, and everything went great with the injection, but once I opened the game and tested the music in create an entrance my game crashes. Am I missing something? Quote
TheVisitorX Posted August 31, 2016 Author Posted August 31, 2016 Which entrance have you tried to open? I don't think that this is an issue with SI. Quote
kingjefftheawesome Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I've tried injecting over several different songs using several different songs that I converted using wwise. I dont think its anything wrong with the program, I just feel like I'm missing something. Whether I try to click on it or just preview the song, my game crashes and I get a popup that the game has stopped working. Quote
jakeypearce Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Just a question. Are you using a cracked/pirated copy of the game? Quote
kingjefftheawesome Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 No, it's legit steam bought. Quote
Gift Of Jericho Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Hey bro, the audiokinetic links don't work for me Please check them again, thanks Quote
