cloudropis Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Or am I missing something? Because they removed A LOT of standing grapples. The ones I've noticed all seem to have one thing in common: they are kick/punch combinations, or generally brawling attacks. For example, Running Kick, Hammer and Sickle, Chain of Punches, Arm Wrench Clothesline, Short-Arm Chops and the European Uppercats (!!!) (also, unrelated, the Vertical Reverse STO is missing too). What the hell? One of the best things about 2k15 were the quick medium-front grapples, especially for brawler characters since it meant seeing a combination of kicks, punches and clotheslines without plodding through some elaborated wristlock or transitional stance like in 2k14. Is everything really removed? Quote
HiPcavallo Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I never played WWE 2K15 so I can't really comment on what's missing. But they reassigned striking grapple moves as strong strikes, some of the moves you mentioned are definitely still in the game just no longer standing grapples D: 1 Quote

DrJoeyMagnum Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 He's done that well over ten times on my watch, although to my knowledge he's only changed his username twice over a leaving the forum tantrum SeeYaSmacktalks and fuckthisforum, the scary thing is the man is in his 30's, you'd think he'd be above that immature nonsense 1 Quote
cloudropis Posted March 11, 2016 Author Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) @Jai, I don't know how but you managed to miss entirely the point of literally everything I said, so you can keep your smarmyness to yourself. Your answer reads like someone put my post into a world scrambler and fed it to Netjester,Anyway, this is a pretty cool change, I heard on some pre-release info how they were gonna separate grapples from brawling attacks but I never elaborated further on what they meant. This actually doubles the moves available for some move positions. Edited March 11, 2016 by cloudropis 1 Quote
HiPcavallo Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Jeff your comments don't match up with what he actually said at all XDYea, personally I love the change. The moveset layout this year is by far my favourite out of all the WWE games I've played. Quote
mrblacksheep Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 When they restrict certain moves to specific grapples or strikes, it limits what you can do with movesets and it sucks but those moves you mentioned are still in game, just moved. Quote

Like I said I love the change, I find everything more easily accessible than I did in past games. But I can see your point, it hasn't really affected me so far based on the movesets I've done but I guess it would be pretty shit for anyone who's more of a brawler than a grappler. On this note I must say it does really piss me off how certain grapples are limited to strong grapples, some of which I might add aren't even overly spectacular or devastating compared to some of the unrestricted moves. That's an absurd limitation I really don't get >_> Edited March 12, 2016 by HiPcavallo Quote
