bravebird31
Usually I just press ctrl shift escape to pull up the task manager. From there just find the 2k16 instance and end task.

Ticaliano
Hello guys, I got a HUGE problem, I started 3 times 2K16 and then as i was creating an arena, The game crashed and now the game freezes at the Credits Loading Screen but i can still acces to Steam on the game, Any way to fix it?Start with verifying the game's files from within Steam. Load SteamFrom the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.Important: One or more files may fail to verify. This is normal for most Steam games. The files that fail to verify are local configuration files that should not be replaced as part of this process. You can safely ignore this message.Warning:Do not run the verification process while performing other system-intensive processes, such as defragmenting your hard drive or scanning for viruses.Do not run this process for multiple games at the same time. If the problem still persists, uninstall the game completely, reboot your system and then re-install it. Good luck. TBM
Unless you were modding, ignore the post above me. If the game is freezing at the Austin screen, just let it sit there for like 3 minutes. Game should eventually load.
Ticaliano
Yes, disregard my advice and stare at the loading screen for at least 3 minutes. If it doesn't load, just wait an additional 3 minutes. If it STILL won't load, give it 3 hours.
Ashba
Sadly... but that's how it works to me, i minimize the game, browsed some stuff on Chrome to kill time and then after 3 or 4 minutes the game started. annoying as hell but Verifying, updating drivers and running it as admin didn't work

TBM
I also noticed that after like 5 or 6 relaunches, it loads instantly from that point on until I turn my PC off.
