I say "basically" because as soon as I clicked Play, it decided it wanted to update first. *sigh* Oh, well... EDIT: Ah, never mind. The status screen says the game is "unpacking"...i.e. installing. Fail troll.on one hand i think he was wrong on the way he made the comment but on the same token i get it cause maybe he was on other forums where it was talked about all day long so i could see that. also i'm jealous you guys can play the pc version. I had to dismantle my desktop and build it from scratch and still can't find a decent processor so maybe next year i'll be able to try out the PC version. tried 2k15 last year and it just kept lagging like crazy even though my PC was a powerhouse (at the time)So have fun guysLet the Hogan's hit the floor! M42Productions Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I just discovered that my problem wasn't my video card...it was my RAM. I was running 4 GB (2 sticks of 2) and decided to get 8 GB (2 sticks of 4) on eBay. One of the 4 GB sticks was dead, so I thought I'd be smart and run a 4 GB stick and a 2 GB stick to try and get something for my money. On impluse, I went back to 4 GB. Now 2K16 is benchmarking around 49-50 FPS, and I can get up to 59 by turning the crowd off. (Granted, I'm also running in a window and turning off everything but shadows.) Since I probably won't be playing any six-man HIAC matches, I can probably turn the crowd density up a little during gameplay.So remember, kids: don't use mismatched RAM sticks in a dual-channel mobo. Also, don't buy your RAM from an eBay store based in China. Quote
