Ashba Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) Most of us have been wondering if 2k15 mods will work with 2k16.... seems like the answer is YES. If you can't see the tweet, click on the link. Let's get ready to move everything from one game to the other!!! Edited March 10, 2016 by Ashba Quote
kim666 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 The problem is, the 2k16 ps360 version has only a few free pofo slots in the save. It would be a big bummer if that is the same on the pc version. We could only add few wrasslers and then we can only replace official wrasslers. Quote
Ashba Posted March 10, 2016 Author Posted March 10, 2016 Isn't the port taken from the Xbox one version? if that's the case, PS3/360 version shouldn't even matter.... 1 Quote

kim666 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 last year the save game structure was the same on all game versions. Quote

This is likely the same from a corporate standpoint as in allowing mods.I don't think we can say it'll be super interchangeable off the bat but we will see later today. Quote
tekken57 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 The format took the same structure across all platforms last year. Hopefully they haven't removed the unused slots. Their tweet could also be referring to simple attire mods instead of adding wrestlers to the game. Quote

I just wouldn't get upset if it was different in a few ways. 1 Quote
Cave Waverider Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) As soon as the PC version unlocked, I did some testing. Some good news here: As we've suspected all along, the models from WWE 2k15 work without needing a change. I've just replaced The Rock with CM Punk from WWE 2k15 and it showed up, albeit only in the entrance (in the Ring it was still The Rock). I probably haven't renamed the in-ring pach files properly as it was just a quick test with HxD, as for some reason my Xpacker doesn't want to start anymore.Update: I've replaced The Rock with Tekken's (I hope I'm right there, let me know if I gave the wrong credit) Benoit mod from 2k15, not sure, let me know if I'm wrong) and it worked in and out of the match. So yeah, our old wrestler mods as well as wrestlers from WWE 2k15 should be usable without issue, from the model standpoint. Adding them in separate slots, of course, will take some figuring out to do. Here is a screenshot:Edit: Why don't imgur images work in these forums anymore? Anyhow, here is the link to the screenshot. Edited March 10, 2016 by Cave Waverider 3 Quote

So say you wanted Punk from last year, can you put it over CAW #1 and have that model as a CAW? Quote

Right now you can replace existing wrestlers in the game or wait until we've figured out how to add ones to new slots. Edited March 10, 2016 by Cave Waverider Quote
dashot88 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Awesome news. It looks like the pacs are split into in-ring and entrance attire instead of like last year when they were combined into the same pac. Quote
AlcLegacy Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I preferred one Pac, makes things much neater IMO 1 Quote
Auday Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Yeah the way they split pacs is so fucking annoying. Quote
Cave Waverider Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I preferred one Pac, makes things much neater IMOI like it this way. It's much easier to switch out and update single outfits. Quote

PRINCE B3ASTIIE Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Are the pac files backwards compatible? My game wont be finished for a while so if anyone could check for me that would be cool. Quote
pozzum Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Pofo Files are bigger, probably because of the personality stuff. they are now 416 bytes long. 1 Quote
tekken57 Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Can someone send me the save please. I've detailed what I need in my thread. Quote
Auday Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Here are some news:1-I injected a 2k15 pach to a 2k16 pac and it works fine.2-4E22 is fucked up, I injected an object to 4E22 and it's there in CAS, however in game it's not there.3-X-Packer can do everything PAC wise(Like injecting, extracting etc.....) I haven't tried to do the save files.4-X-Rey is working 100% fine. 1 Quote
Twistedmisery666™ Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 i just noticed this and if you open up 04 you cant get some of the dds files cuz there in a .pac format only and 02 you can get them. Quote
wtferrell Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 So could I take my 10 attire Stinger ch410.pac from laSt year, and replace the WWE 2k16 file, and it'll work without modification? Also, my ch409.pac Starrcade 97 Sting, replace 99 Sting and it'll be good? If so, that's awesome. Quote
