Lawzy Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 (edited) Every now and then I like to have a nostalgic mess around on SD2 and I figured I'd see if I could get texure replacement ala No Mercy. I got it working to a point. You'll need: PCSX-R (PS1 Emulator)https://pcsxr.codeplex.com/Next3D Pluginhttp://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/psx/psxplugins-tools.htmlTexModhttp://www.fileplanet.com/205418/download/Texmod-v0.9bSet up PCSX-R pretty much as you would ePSXe, use the Next3D plugin. Then use TexMod as you would any other game. TexMod tutorial: http://www.moddb.com/groups/texmod-v30/tutorials/texmod-tutorialIt works well for arena textures, these seem to stay static. Wrestlers on the other hand I get mixed results. The textures seem to jump about in memory. Maybe it can work with some experimentation.Hopefully someone finds this of some use. Oh, here's a random test shot.. Edited February 25, 2016 by Lawzy Quote
SD2 LeGeNd Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 I remember trying texmod a while back with epsxe. This could be a good way to texture arenas until we can extract the arena textures from the C2.PAC. Awesome find. Quote
