Ecstatic. Hopefully the file formats didn't change, and the models are interchangeable.

I dont think the formats will change because they support modding. 2K acknowledged the modding community and they support it.

dont know anything about modding pc games and extracting the 3d models, i was able to rip the textures from mkx characters from the pc version but was never able to successfully save the edits and use them in the game always came up an error message. I was never able to rip the 3d models always had to download them online.

 

but was wondering if anyone on here will be ripping a 3d model either obj or xps/xna/generic-item file for the wwe 2k16 superstar/divas

Inb4 obligatory PC master race comment.

If it's a shitty port, then that comment gets thrown down the drain considering the glitches the console had and is still not fixed. So hopefully, they actually worked on it.

Never forget that everybody (including the most experienced guys) once started with little to no knowledge. And most of them asked "silly" questions back then. Nobody's being born as a professional/experienced modder and only very few figured all that stuff out by themselves.

Wow, I may not mod or anything but Tekken's tool is fantastic from what I've seen and 14 bucks isn't that much.

Paying an additional $14 for mod tools in a game that already includes all of the DLC for free sounds like a phenomenal deal to me. It's the equivalent to console gamers buying the season pass to access extra content.

while i respectfully disagree with paying for a modding tool as i feel modding should be kept free and open so anyone can have a crack at it. that's just my humble opinion and as evreyone knows opinions are just like ass holes and everyone got one, but at the end of the day it's Tekken's prerogative to do what he wants with a tool that he created. i really don't understand why people are still complaining about it to be honest as it's pointless and counter productive

The real question is, why would I bother continuing to create an outlet for something I won't be participating in? The only thing I would say is try make this place better, the community should defend it's most valuable contributor (Tekken) for his enabling of modding in the first place; I'm surprised Tekken has continued to assist. 

lol come on guys, what do you expect from Reddit? Hell, they've called me a peasant for using a controller / running an AMD build. They are best just left ignored to shout into their little echo chamber. And believe it or not, if you think the PC side is bad, you should see what the console side did to brianj back in the day. What a disaster that was. I had to leave that scene because it got so nasty. It's why I refuse to use CAWS.ws. It's just par for the course from a certain subsection of entitled loud mouths who think the world owes them everything. We might get some confused people here, and some people whose parents failed to teach them how to ask nicely and say thank you, but I doubt we'll attract many of that particular ilk here, and if we do, they won't last long.

Then again, that's easy for me to say. I can only imagine the crazy PM's and such you two have received over the past year.

So maybe I'm too optimistic...
