An Update on the Future Stars DLC patch fix for Universe Mode

For those not aware, the WWE 2K16 Future Stars pack DLC has affected some users’

Universe Mode save files

. The development team has created a patch fix, and we are working with Sony and Microsoft to deliver the fix to players as quickly as possible. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear any updates on the timing of the release. Below are a few details about the upcoming fix.

Once a player installs the upcoming patch fix:

• WWE Universe changes will now save properly when exiting the mode or restarting the title
• Users who did not previously install the WWE 2K16 Future Stars Pack and install Patch 5 before installing the DLC should not encounter any issues in WWE Universe
• Users who installed the WWE 2K16 Future Stars Pack on Patch 4 and encountered issues with Universe elements resetting will not be able to recover their exact pre-Future Stars Pack installation WWE Universe save state. Ongoing rivalries, calendar changes, and Championship changes that were previously set will not be restored automatically. All impacted items can be manually readjusted. Additionally, affected users should not have to reset their entire Universe save state to continue playing the mode, which will now save changes properly

I was lucky enough to not have this problem. Glad it's getting fixed though.

yeah it seems that it really only affected people that had custom shows ie. changing smackdown from thursday to saturday. mine was real jacked up cause i switched all 4 current shows around since cole thinks Tuesday is thursday and thursday is tuesday

Maybe they can patch not deleting rivalries when you edit a f****** match.

Wouldn't be so bad if the booking wasn't so crap.  2 vs 2 rivalry and for 3 weeks running, tag partner vs tag partner on raw with no cut scenes to explain why!

I've some "errors" in game since two days ago I've downloaded the Futures Superstars Pack in universe mode (and I'm on Xbox360), for my custom NXT Arrival, no banner, no music before matches, just the pics of the NXT wrestlers. Another example in Smackdown a simple match between Kofi Kingston VS Bubba Ray became an Elimination Tag Team match

i have never gotten the latter. i've never seen a tag partner vs tag partner match booked automatically

but yeah editng the rivalry match will delete it that really sucks

What about the people that downloaded the pack but hasn't played or went into Universe mode afterwards?  Will Universe mode still be affected by it?  I played two exhibtion matches (one with Samoa Joe), download some sh*t from CC, edited a few entrances, went to creation studio, and turned that game off when I saw about the dlc problem on here.
