Should a creator who doesn't create their own textures get the same acclaim as those who do?

Love the quote by NickBreaker hehe yep we just hit out our greatest hits..Well I have only just started making my own textures..There is balance now in the caw system..last 3 years before this game textures were important than morphing..Now with this years system the morphers are back..

I have collabed with some people it should always be about the best product as long as credit is given

I am still a very good morpher and my own texturing skills are getting there. I enjoyed doing a lot of own textures on Angle, RVD and Hogan

However with my new caws coming..I needed help with textures and I would have got nowhere without help..but thats when a collab works..I will now be in a situaton where I can make better textures with face paints after these collabs

Movesets are the fries to a great burger.  They don't make a caw look any better, but to help to complete the experience.

Without solid morphing a caw is basic.  Just look at some of Doc and NoMod's caws without textures.  Their morphs are ridiculous.

Since textures came about, there have always been texture slappers, caws like that have no chance against a caw with a great morph under the texture.  Now, cawing is easier than ever before, and with that comes way more weak caws, but also allows for better caws and more work from "new" cawers.  If a cawer uses a texture, then the texture maker deserves credit, without the texture, it wouldn't be the same caw.  Texture making is def something not everyone is capable of doing.  Folks that use other's textures to make great caws shouldn't be frowned upon.  Whether it be face textures, attire textures, etc..

I second this. This is what I was trying to get at, but you said it much better than me.

I think there is a stigma that a cawer that makes their own textures are better than those that don't.  Not true.  There are great cawers that can't make textures, doesn't make them any less of a cawer.

It's like having 2 chefs prepare a meal.

Chef A grows all his own fruits and veggies.

Chef B buys his fruits and veggies from the organic market.

Both meals are great.

Just because Chef A grew his own fruits and veggies, doesn't make his meal better.

This topic is not about which end result is better. It's about whether or not people should be recognised because they go that extra mile and do it themselves. It's the effort that's in question.

@fufu as explained yes their efforts who make all by themselves should be recognised ..I have started to do that..others do it but in practice people will always judge on results

This topic isn't really about end result. It's more about the philosophy behind each creator. All people who download care about is the end result, and most of them lack the courtesy to even leave a review, so that's why this is asking creators view. I don't think there are any right or wrong opinions in here, although I am going to push and poke people to go a bit deeper with them. Some people just seem to have veered off a little from the point is all.

my only gripes with downloading other people's caws are like i said most of the time (not the normal people but the new people trying to make a name i guess) just upload a caw and do somethng stupid like giving mortis an edge moveset or giving a Luger caw (think 2k14) a great khali set. that right there in itself pissed me off. although i get why some don't go thru the whole song and dance of movesets abilities attributes skillsets and entrances. it is alot especially now.

Rightfully so.

yeah Michelle Pfieffer was awesome in that movie. i really wish they had atleast put her in Batman & Robin at least. i didn't care for Batman Forever but she would have fit in with Ivy and Freeze

Why would you want to ruin her Catwoman character by putting her in that piece of shit movie?

Halle Berry could have my baby gravy any day.

Now here's the real question, which movie was worse, Batman & Robin or Catwoman?

Batman & Robin didn't have The Basketball Scene.

So, that already makes it a cinematic masterpiece compared to Catwoman.

batman and robin wasn't that bad to me. atleast it wasn't as bad as batman forever. or do i have it backwards? wasn't b&r the one with batgirl ivy and freeze? although that was the only thing that pisses me off. the fact that barbara somehow becomes "related"

Halle Berry could have my baby gravy any day.

Met her a few times at Phipps plaza in atlanta back in the day she's a nice person. this was back when she was dating Dave Justice

i didn't see a problem with Catwoman the movie, but the fact of how she got her abilities was kinda weird. i liked the Batman returns backstory better. then again i never really read any catwoman comic books only followed the movies and the animated series so IDK

All of my Batmen were from the animated series range. But my Robin and my Mr Freeze were from the film. I think my Batmobile was Forever. I need to get up in the attic and check.
