Okay so I'm not sure if I'm way off track here...but I was curious if there was a way to use scenes from 30YoWM, the 2KShowcases, The Attitude Campaign and maybe even RTWM as replacement scenes in Story Designer. Or even just assign different superstars to those cut-scenes. Like if I wanted to use the DX/Taker Attack Scene from WWE '13 as an after match attack using The Rock and Chris Jericho or Owens and Ambrose, or even Edge & Foley how would I go about doing it? Or really any scenes like the Punk/Cena screw job stop from the 2k15 Showcase...the Sheamus and Triple H RTWM attacks, ect. ect.

As always thanks for any and all help,

-Rev.

In theory it may be possible, the problem is(as far as I've found in these forums) nobody has gone really extensively into the inner workings of those modes. I've tried to pm the most knowledgeable modding members about such things(even just in if it was possible to edit what attires were selected in that mode) to no success.

But you also gotta take into consideration that a lot of stuff that is possible in modding has just been discovered since 2k14, they're still learning stuff & having innovations(cdlc in story designer was impossible up until a month or two ago).

Personally I hope the showcase modes will be cracked before people lose interest in last gen wwe modding, I've tried to look into it but its far beyond my capabilities. But who knows, maybe these series of games will continue to be cracked & unraveled like No Mercy where the impossible was made possible years later. But only time will tell............

I can understand, I mean it's a learning game for all of us. I'm not looking for a fool proof step by step on how to do this, just a confirmation. I mean yeah I get it most people's confirmation is "try it yourself" but I just feel if someone knows for sure that it can be done you could share it with the community. After all we are all one big, not always perfectly peachy Family here, right?

But yes I'm sure it's possible to do this on the confines of one game rather than replace all the pac files on whichever game you want to use just to get cut-scene footage...it would just be nice if there was someone out there who knew :) But as I touched on earlier we're all here to help each other.

After looking more into Winning Animation Replacement I assume there are EVP/EVZ's linked to Story Animations as well, it'd probably just be some real trial and error to replace them into editable working Story Designer slots (ie. if you replace an attack with 3 people with an animation containing 4 people you'd never be able to assign the 4th man, making me think you may never be able to successfully assign wrestlers to non-story animations.)

Either way out we could possibly replace them with 30YWM Animations and possibly assign PAC files to them, but it could be a while before that gets figured out...

After all I could be COMPLETELY off here as it's still a little bit further from my area of expertise.

Wouldn't it just be as simple as injecting pac files? In order to find the animation (this is true with entrance and winning animations), check the EVP file with a hex editor. There should be some plain text that tells you what the animation is. For example, The Rock's ID is 100. If I didn't know that, I would check the EVP which contains "64 00" (100 in hex) and the name of the wrestler (in this case The Rock) and then another 100 in hex.
