foot on rope freeze glitch?

yeah i was playing someone online and the first match they won and 2nd match we faced each other again and this time i was winning had pretty much full energy he was in the red zone and went to pin him and he put his foot on the rope and ref stopped counting at 2 and stood up however we was froze wouldn't let us get up after few mins finally gave up and quit but has this happened to anyone else

u aint lying cause the next matching facing someone else i used the rope break and ref didn't even break the count and it was another match i should've won cause i still had close to full health and opponent was in red
