Sorry to say, this isn't going to help you or anybody else out with online match-ups.

I suggest you join other people's sessions a few times and maybe try to make friends with some of them, that's what I had to do since none of my actual friends play WWE games.

I haven't played online since upgrading to PS4, but if it's at all similar to last gen, you should just have to press R1/RB to switch between creating and finding a session.

Hope that helps. Somebody else can probably elaborate on that if I'm wrong.
