I see the point but somewhat I don't follow. I disagree with things about the stunt but I can give it since at least they made it look like Roman was in the right position.

I didn't compare the crowds today to those of Attitude Era. Think about all the pops and boos in Royal Rumble this year. They are still alive. That was in Philly and it wasn't that old. Even though last night was just a weekly show, the crowd pops were not even close to that point.

Again, I agree with the fact that they changed the whole mess into the right direction and everyone is pretty much happy about it and enjoyed the show. That is why they chanted "Thank you Roman" in the beginning of the show which is mostly because of that decision.

Also the guy is in the spot simply because the company maliciously and creatively crushed everyone else's pops and positions just for that one guy who supposed to be somewhere around the mid card to learn more how to talk, act and wrestle. There were so many other easier and better choices but they blew them away and fed us a bad fish in wrong dish for the entire year, which could be two years if Roman didn't rule out because of hernia. Since WWE killed everyone else in the main event card besides Roman, they didn't have any other choice but to change their way to feed him to us, which turned out to be much pleasant way to be. I like him not talking. That is the best change that I saw from him but the guy needs to improve much more and needs to know what fits him the best. That has to be learned from somewhere below high-mid or midcard not the main event spot, especially when he was booed over the entire year. I like his look too, only when he has that badass look not the dumbass smile like little Johnny.

Anyway what's done is done and I'm intrigued to watch the show now just like you and wanna see how long this badass looking thing will go in the future. 

If this is the "real direction" that they chose, then I'm really in. I will pray for it too. 

However If I see him talking in the beginning of the show for like 10 to 20 mins again next week I will throw a bottle inside of the ring. No joking.
