WarGreymon77 Posted April 24, 2016 Author Posted April 24, 2016 I guess I'm... not... done!! Hah, the luck! You know, I did a simple Google search "WCW logo" (no quotes) and what did I find? A Bash at the Beach logo! Granted, it was small, but my online image resizer was able to bump it up from 180x194 to 512x512 without a reduction in quality. Good thing too, because the program Paint.NET adds a blur over resized images, which helps at times, but would have hindered me here.I might not upload all of these, but I'm making note of all my new stuff. Also, if I buy WWE 2K17, I'm going to take my time and try to put out the finished product the first time. I was so worried about getting downloads that I put quantity above quality. Here's a list of what's new this time.I realize full well that my Bash at the Beach arena looks like poo. But no more! That is #1 on my priority list.Next I'll upload my updated Monday Nitro. I don't remember everything that I did, but the most prominent was the flame mats. Oh! Yeah, I also used a texture from SvR 2011 to make a significant difference on my gray Nitro logo with the white lettering. Actually, you probably won't notice that anywhere except the announce table, because of the stage that I use.WCW Old School got some minor changes. I tried my best to brighten up the crowd some. It didn't work very well. The curtains are now gold again. I liked it better that way. I might put a better looking WCW logo on the entrance nameplates, but I might save that for next year. I might change the name to WCW 1990, might not. Turnbuckle posts are now dark blue for better accuracy instead of black. Changed the stage lighting a bit, I think. Some blues and reds instead of dingy yellow.NWA 1980s will be changed to the more accurately named NWA 1988. Arena downsized to the smallest size. Crowd lighting is now pitch black. The modern NWA logo (globe) will be replaced by a more period accurate late 80s/early 90s NWA logo (as seen on the ring apron). My custom WCW Women's Championship... I'm going to be editing that. I want to replace a side plate with something more fitting. And this time, I'll probably be using Tinypic here. Quote
WarGreymon77 Posted April 25, 2016 Author Posted April 25, 2016 (edited) New Bash at the Beach '96/97 uploaded. Literally all I changed compared to my original upload was the logo on the canvas. I also uploaded the final version of my WCW Monday Nitro arena today, seen here, except I changed the TNT logo on the hanging banners to be be authentic. Instead of yellow and red, the TNT logo is black and red. It's the most authentic Nitro arena that I have created in any wrestling game to date. I'm no longer self-concious about the choice of stage, because I feel like this arena is finally recognizably Monday Nitro. Not related to an upload, but I finally figured out that WCW Saturday Night does look best with a late 90s filter instead of early 90s. Note made for 2K17. I'm also looking to make a better black and yellow pattern for the ramp next year. Now I'm off to my attire and belt threads. Edited August 1, 2019 by WarGreymon77 Quote
the King Lives Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 i say the arena in wcw nitro and revenge were probably the most accurate of those eras. Nitro was based on 96 (sting still had the early crow facepaint in the game and in his rant) and Revenge was more of a 98 base. since Superbrawl 8 was in that game and wcw/nwo was plastered on every 98 arena as well.the other games i don't remember that well. i hardly played the nitro or thunder games unless someone wasn't in world tour or revenge (Mongo Arn Flair lol) tried turning kim chee into mongo and finlay into flair but yeah that just didn't work lol Quote
WarGreymon77 Posted April 28, 2016 Author Posted April 28, 2016 (edited) I said the most authentic Nitro arena that I have made, between WWE 12, 13, 2K14, and 2K16. But today's order of business... WCW Saturday Nite '92 is the name of the show that I uploaded to community creations (PS4). WCW Saturday Night 1992/1993 is the name of the arena. I couldn't squeeze another arena onto community creations, due to upload slots being full. So I used a show. I had to replace SuperBrawl '98 with this. I can never get over how much better the create-an-arena is for 2K16 compared to WWE 12-14. Being able to upload your own logos makes a lot of difference. The first picture is for comparison's sake. (Btw, WWE, get to putting Saturday Night and Thunder on the Network!) Edited August 1, 2019 by WarGreymon77 Quote
Ledzepfan1981 Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Amazing work on the Saturday Night arena, well done. Quote

(Btw, WWE, get to putting Saturday Night and Thunder on the Network!) hey man just wanted to give you a heads up regarding your rumble post on the 2k forums: you can have a custom arena host a royal rumble match or elimination chamber as long as you're in universe. if you have that show/arena set. that arena happens during the rumble as well. just thought you'd wanna know. that goes for handicap matches for a singles title and singles title ladder matches as well. Awesome work on saturday night Quote
WarGreymon77 Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 Interesting... I'll have to try that out. I normally only do exhibition mode, but yesterday I was working on setting up a universe with a late 90s WCW roster on Nitro and Thunder, and an early 90s WCW roster on Saturday Night. Quote

It worked really well. Quote
