Is it necessary to keep the logos that are attached to the content you downloaded?

I'm trying to DL a CAW and a message keeps popping up telling me that I can't have more than 1,000 logos and now I'm going through a shitload of them to make room.

 

Why they don't have easier options to delete or why downloaded content logos save on our files to begin with is a fucking mystery to me.

I think you do have to keep the "active" ones. I suppose the easy way to find out is to download a caw and then delete a logo, and see if it still shows up.
