So, Black Friday just passed... what happened with you guys? Pick up any items for cheap? Maybe get punched in the face by someone trying to take it from you?

I got this cleats online, still haven't shipped here yet.

Was gonna buy a PS4 too after selling my old one but offers didn't seem reasonable enough for me, a new PS4 with a game and controller bundle is usually 350$ outside black friday, on black friday it was 300$ with only one game. Last year when they had GTA V+The last of us+PS4+controller for 300$ it seemed more reasonable so I passed on getting it. Also didn;t go cloth shopping, fuck it I ain't waiting a lot to save 10$ on a shirt.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate: $25

Beyond Two Souls: $6

In Australia we mostly put "black" in  front of days of the week to signify a day a bushfire ravaged houses and people died.

You could potentially get one for cheaper than the Black Friday deals stacking coupons at Target using various apps and promos for a total of $178.55 after tax. That is a Red Card discount (5%), a Kids Wishlist App discount (10%), a college registry discount (15%), and promo code "CYBER 15" for 15% anything storewide. http://m.target.com/p/playstation-4-500gb-uncharted-the-nathan-drake-collection-bundle/-/A-49174644

Cyber Monday shit is real this year. Got Bloodborne for 20, LBP3 for 20, Borderlands Collection(the one with 1+2 and all DLC) for 20, Bourne Trilogy 15 bucks. On Friday found AC Syndicate for 25. Unfortunately game of thrones box sets are still way expensive so I didn't get that but the Bourne trilogy on Blu ray is pretty cool.

What's the dimension of the TV? 200 for a TV on black friday def sounds like you got ripped off.

My dad got a 55 inch 4k screen for 500$ outside of black Friday brand new from Walmart.  If it was a tiny non 4k screen for 200£ then it's def a rip off.

Don't try and compare prices between countries, there's a bunch of different factors in play like currency conversions, average income, taxes, standard pricing for goods etc. It never works.

this! I've litterally seen 1 4k tv under £500 here, it wasn't 55" and it wasnt a good brand! a 49" LED for £200 i'd say is pretty fucking cheap... im guessing its not a big brand at that price

You're looking at minimum £100 on gumtree for one from stoke at that size, so yeah he probably got a decent deal there.

Brands don't matter with TVs either - unless you're going for the very top TV on the market. The only difference between them is the logo and the software. All made from the same parts, usually Samsung, and all assembled in the same factories and have to pass certain regulations to be sold here anyway. So unless you're importing from China chances are your cheap £200 TV from Tesco will match your £500 TV with Samsung or LG written on it.

Have you been snooping around inside tesco sets? :lol

Did a module at uni about all that shite and future technologies and stuff. It's a big con, unless you're buying phones. That's just an entirely different con.

I'm not saying there's an issue with smaller brands, fuck plenty of Samsung's shit themselves after no time, and Panasonic's smart TV set up is clunky bullshit! At that price so long as the screen looks well its a fucking bargain

Moral of the story, buy a cheap one from Tesco and put a vinyl Sony logo on it and nobody will no you're a cheapskate.

Next time i'll tell you about getting a good deal on your straighteners and hairdryers
