FailedHero1985 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) This year I will be creating a releasing a number of CAWs. Since WWE 13 I have tried to recreate the original THQ/AKI original characters from WCW vs NWO World Tour and WCW vs NWO Revenge. I loved these games on the original Nintendo 64. Asmik Ace and THQ included fictional wrestling promotions Dead or Alive Wrestling, a reference to Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling, Independent Union, a reference to International Wrestling Grand Prix, Empire Wrestling Federation, a reference to All Japan Pro Wrestling. These factions consist of several "fictional" characters who are actually Japanese wrestlers that appeared in the Japanese country's version of the game, Virtual Pro Wrestling 64. They appear in the American version with names changed due to copyright laws. These Japanese wrestlers include, among others FMW stars such as Hayabusa, who was renamed "Hannibal or Han Zo Mon" and Atsushi Onita, who was renamed "Puchtecha or Dake Ken," as well as future WWF stars such as Taka Michinoku, who goes by the moniker of "Black Belt." These characters were also given extravagant profiles in the game's official strategy guide. For this Project I will be blending the backgrounds of the original characters from the game, their real life counterpart and some of my own style.Without further aduie my inagural CAW: Dake Ken Hashtags: AKI OC , DEADORALIVE WCWVSNWOREVENGE FH1985 Real Life Counter Part: Atsushi Onita Profile: Cold, cruel and calculating. Dake Ken is truly dangerous in evey sense of the word. Infamous for never losing he cool under pressurem Dake Ken's bone and spirit crushing techniques stem from an irrational blend of brawling, aerial techniques, and hard core violence. Under his alternate identity The Great Ken, Dake blends an influence of other Japanese wrestling heels of the past such as the Great Muta and the Great Kabuki. FailedHero1985 Posted November 19, 2015 Author Posted November 19, 2015 Preview of Le Masqerade Preview of Adam Prometheus AKA Dr. FrankI will definantly be working on the face and body for Le Masqerade as he is based on Mil Mascaras, I am slowly developing his move set. I will be doing some body work on Prometheus. I know he does not look like the attire seen in the original game, I am trying to make the characters a bit less silly and give some nods to pop culture along the way. Hence making Dr. Frank look like Karloff's Frankenstein Monster, giving him the body paint of luchador Gronda, and giving him a Bruiser Brody inspired attire. Quote

BigDaddyM Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 "The Black Widow" Kimiko NissanHashtags: AKI OC , DEADORALIVE WCWVSNWOREVENGE FH1985 Nice idea, I like your characters. Quote
FailedHero1985 Posted December 31, 2015 Author Posted December 31, 2015 Han Zo Mon.I know a lot of Old School Gamers will cry heresy with this look for this character. Han Zo Mon was based on Hayabusa, an incredible Japanese talent taken from the business too soon. Hayabusa was in two of the WCW N64 games, as Hannibal and as Han Zo Mon. His traditional look was seen in WCW vs nWo World Tour and as Han Zo Mon in WCW vs nWo Revenge he was turned into a ninja. I decided to move in different direction this year with Han Zo Mon, basing his look on Hayabusa's maskless identity H. who wreslted in bleached denim cut offs (Stevie Richards style) and wore the remaining pants (at the knee like Jackie Gayda-Haas). So I decided to give Han Zo Mon a make over as a daredevil pretty boy, with a fascination with the look of the Rockers. Quote
Ricsplode Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Great creativity. Loved those old aki games! Will you be making 'the unknown' (super delphin)? Quote
FailedHero1985 Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 He is on my list, but unless I get more Downloads gettting these CAWS up is going to be a problem. Quote
FailedHero1985 Posted January 8, 2016 Author Posted January 8, 2016 Just an Update:I have my new version of Han Zo Mon, Black Widow Kimiko Nissan, and a new addition Wu Fang The Jaguar. Wu Fang is my version of AKI/THQ Man. When I discovered that The goofy Aki Man was based of legendary hard ass Mitsuharu Misawa, I was stunned, I decided to play on Misawa's time as Tiger Mask II for inspiration. Essential Wu Fang is an incredibly skilled Japanese wrestler who signs a luractive contract with a big company, and is placed in the super kiddy super hero cat themed character. Imagine is Nakamura gets to WWE and then gets asked "Wella, Nakamura-san have you everrrr heard of ThunderCats?" Quote
FailedHero1985 Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) Kokuei KishiShrouded in mystery, cloaked in controversy, only one rumor about legendary Independent Union Japanese fighter has been verified by Kokuei Kishi himself. On the one occasion he's known ever to have spoken aloud, Kokuei Kishi confirmed that he was trained since birth the customs and practices of the Ninja warrior. Kishi will be uploaded later tonight. Along with Shogun, Dr. Adam Prometheus, Jekel, and Wu Fang the Jaguar of Empire Wrestling Federation. Edited January 12, 2016 by FailedHero1985 Quote
