I'm having an issue with Jake Roberts and his finisher, more specifically, "The DDT".

I've found it to be literally impossible to finish a match via finisher and subsequent pin. In multiple matches against The Ultimate Warrior, Ricky Steamboat and Rick Rude, the CPU will repeatedly kick out at a 2 count.

Multiple DDT's later with heavy CPU damage (body red, head red) still no pinfall, and I have to resort to making them submit.

Anybody have any similar issues, or know a reasonable way I can resolve this?

adjust the sliders in settings

I've upped the sliders, but to no avail.

Just did a match with him, took 2 DDT's to get the pin

I've had matches where I've done up to three DDT's with no such luck. I'd be nice to have a bit more reliability in a finisher move.

Hmm well some guys take more than others, I have had to use 4 finishers on people to get a pin before as well, I used 2 DDT's on The Miz for a pin.

This is true. It's certainly made for some interesting, albeit frustrating matches. Just lost to Andre the Giant via count-out. He managed to kick out of two DDT's.

I've been winning matches fine with an 84 overall CAW who uses that as a finisher. You're either hitting them too early in the match, and therefore pinning too early so its an easy kick out, which would also mean anyone with Resiliency would kick out the second time too. Or you're just being too slow to cover (although i'm aware the sitting around for a few seconds on the floor hinders that slightly (but i've still won even after taunting there too).

I've been pinning immediately following the DDT (once Roberts stands up). I've had the opponent/CPU with red body and red head, and I play with momentum on slow. Normally I've found one red body part and one orange, sometimes yellow, is sufficient for a three count with other finishers...

Edit: And this has been against a range of superstars from ratings of 77+

don't hit a finisher till that person is in yellow (past red) health.  That depicts zero health

i can't believe people are complaining about something like this when in wwe13 it was impossible to get a 2 count.

If you bothered to look above, you'd see that I am performing finishers in that situation.

My apologies, I should have mentioned that by the time the opponent has two body parts in red, their generally (9 times out of 10) in the state that you mentioned.

On the plus side, I'm getting rather good at submissions.

Ok, things are getting slightly ridiculous now.

Just had a match against The Honky Tonk Man (78 overall), with his body red, head red, legs orange, arms yellow and health at zero, he managed to kick out of three charged DDT's!

Meanwhile, he performs a basic backdrop which I had to use resiliency to kick out of (and I consider myself rather good at kicking out of pins).

Ended up having to win the match with a turnbuckle big boot outside the ring, which gave a three count on the first attempt.

What gives!?
