Adding the skin texture from the previous game definitely helped mine, if nothing else, it sorted out a few morphing issues I was having. The main thing with RVD, to really nail his likeness, is to do something with the skin, because his natural shadowing and "facial bumps" just don't occur in any of the face templates. I'd say go for it. But you're definitely almost there, either way. Note: By skin texture...I didn't actually use the ripped skin texture...I used a photoshopped screenshot of last years model, as "face art". I wouldn't use the texture as your face photo.
